Hi Charlene, u think this deal will work? I’m kinda eskeptical about it… 😛

my San Jose ad didn’t have American Greetings
instead 10ECB with purchase of $30 Hallmark
I hope it isn’t just this week

I just checked the California ad and that deal is not listed. There has been quite a few differences lately in the CA ad.

Oh Kelly emailed that out but I don’t think it will print the ECB. Also I checked 2 stores and the smallest size was the 2.5- no little tiny ones to be found. You could certainly try and then fight with them if it doesn’t print. The trick to knowing if a deal works without buying the product, is if your store is fully stocked on inventory 😀

Charlene, you’ll be excited about the Red Coupon Kiosk printed a coupon for Free Illy Coffee Drink priced $2, and coupon automatically deducted $2.49!
The Illy coupon popped out after my second swipe at the Kiosk.
I did the Covergirl deal. Bay Area pricing was Blush $5.29 and Eye Shadow $4.19.
    Thank you for your posts!

Quick question. To do the Olay rebate does the purchase price have to be $30 before coupons or after? Thanks!

    Back from CVS!
Well, i bougth 2 12 oz. that are 2 for $13 at my cvs, used the $3off 2 from 9/11 SS, thinking i will end paying $10 and get 7 ECB back, but nothing printed, I argued to the cashier with the ad in hand where clearly states buy 2 aveno moisturizing lotion 0.5 to 18 oz. and get 7 ECB, then she said, you have to buy a bigger size to get the ECB.
WTF i will call CVS customer care tomorrow and if they don’t give me the 7 ECB i just will return both of them.

I saw that was the freebie this week! I am excited. Illy is my favorite 🙂

  9. Endcapps says

    10/30/2011 at 2:32 PM

Charlene, I remembered Illy was your favorite & I thought of you when the coupon popped out! Thank you CVS for Illy and overage as our Halloween Treat (instead of the usual candy)

Buy 2 Aveeno Lotions 2.5oz at $3.59 (projected price)

Picked it up today, it is $3.89 for the 2.5oz at my CVS.

  14. Kimberly says

I had the same issue with the CVS & the lotions that JJ did. I bought 2 12oz bottles that were on sale for 2/$12. No EBs printed. I plan on going to chat with the manager this AM. I did not argue with the cashier yesterday – I’m friendly with the full-time staff and figured I’d get better results asking them. I’ll let you know what the result is

  15. Charlene says

    10/31/2011 at 7:42 AM

Kimberly you can call the number on the back of your card too and they can push the ECBs through to print the next time you shop.

Here’s another idea for the 10 gift card- Buy 4 pantene at 3.49, use 2- $3/2, Buy 4 cover girl at 5.99 (BOGO 1/2 off), use 2-$8/2.
Pay $9.96, and get a $10 gift card! If you got that $4 off $20, even better!

Does anyone know how many times we can get the 10 gift card?

  17. Kimberly says

    10/31/2011 at 11:48 AM

Charleen- thanks for the tip to simply call. CVS rocks! They handled my problem so graciously. So glad I asked…you saved me a trip on a very busy day!

I got a great deal at CVS this week, thought i would share 🙂

I bought 1 Olay Regenerist Product $20.99, used the $5 off $20 skincare coupon and the coupon in the weeks P&G for buy one Olay Regenerist product and get one cover girl lip perfection lipstick free, then bought another covergirl lip gloss (1/2 price) (used a $2.50 off 2 Covergirl products coupon also)

Today my Aveeno $7 ECB printed after buying two 2.5 oz tubes. Bay Area pricing is $3.79 on the 2.5 oz

  22. JJ says

    11/01/2011 at 11:32 PM

@Endcapps, what kind of aveeno did you buy?
I live in san mateo (SF bay area), I bought 2 Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion 12 oz. last sunday and nothing printed =(

  23. Endcapps says

    11/02/2011 at 6:18 AM

JJ, I heard that there was a computer glitch w/the CVS Aveeno Deal early in the week & maybe it affected your Aveeno transaction Sunday. On Tues. I bought exactly what Charlene posted:

    Aveeno Moisturizing Lotion or Cream
    Buy 2, Get $7 ECB (limit 1)
Buy 2 Aveeno Lotions 2.5oz at $3.59 (projected price)<==$3.79 for me

These were tubes, displayed next to the bigger bottles, in the regular moisturizer aisle, placed standing on their caps. My store only had 2 on display.

  24. Endcapps says

    11/02/2011 at 2:21 PM

OK, the Aveeno lotion 1oz mini bottles from travel section generate $7 ECB. My husband’s transaction this a.m. in bay area–
    Aveeno lotion, 1oz. $1.49
    Aveeno lotion, 1oz. $1.49
    Illy $2.00
    Illy. $2.00
    CRv $.10
    Tax $.25
    Illy coupon -$2.49
    Illy coupon. -2.49
Paid $2.35 and rec’d $7 ECB no problem

  25. Charlene says

    11/02/2011 at 2:55 PM

Funny- I was planning to go try this today. I just had a feeling the ECB was broken or something earlier in the week. Thanks, I will let you know how it goes when I try!

I also bought (2) Aveeno 1oz. at $1.49 and received the $7 ECB with no issues. I was bummed that my store was out of the Illy coffees.

hope OK to ask here about CVS returns?
Just want to know what to expect.
Last time I did any I got back the cash I paid and the value of the item on a moneycard. Coupons and ECBs were included on moneycard.
Today it was a mess. One store register wouldn’t give me back the value of the items (2 x 3.29 advil that didn’t work for ECB deal) and the mgr just gave me cash.
Another very complicated exchange went smoother because I paid part with a credit card, but it still had to be done in 2 parts-one as “without reciept” and put on a moneycard.
CVS returns used to be so easy and I wasn’t afraid to test whether an item worked for ECBs. Now I don’t know what to expect. Hate that.
