There is a nice deal on a Brother printer today courtesy of Amazon. You can get this HL-2220 printer for $49.99 and shipping is free. It looks like the the regular price is $109.
I am not familiar with this model but I have a similar printer that I have been very happy with. I only have to replace the toner every few months, it is very fast and I have had mine about 2 years with no issues.
Just keep in mind that this printer does not print in color, just black and white.

I have this printer, bought the last time this deal came around months ago. It is a great printer, no problems. I just got the high capacity toner cartridge to replace the sample installed in the printer which lasted quite a long time. I got the cheapest toner on Amazon for $42 which I got for free with my Swagbucks!
