Would anybody be willing to scan in some of the coupons from the Infant Car Booklet? We don’t get the booklet up here in Green Bay, and I was wondering if I were to print out the coupons and show it to the manager, if he would allow the cashier to type it in, or possibly even scan it. If it works, then maybe we can set up a site where someone with the coupons can scan it in for everyone to save. What do you think??
Charlene says
Tom, the booklets were available a long time ago so they were in almost every city it is more people newer to coupons that missed them. I think you have a nice idea but reproducing coupons is illegal. I am pretty sure it would be fraud to scan those coupons in or photocopy them. I think the only options at this point would be to try giving the code or you can go to EBay and buy a booklet.
Cmat says
Some Walgreens stores consider it okay to type in the code at the register. It is a store coupon, not a MFC, so its technically their deal if they want to or not. Tom, if your store allows it, you can probably find the codes online. Otherwise, its possible to find the booklets on ebay pretty cheap. I believe a new one comes out in December or early January.
Charlene says
I actually listed the code in the post. I listed all the codes for each coupon if you click the link to read about the booklet.

I’m getting so tired of my sunday paper never having the coupons you mention! I don’t even get the P&G inserts anymore! Its kind of depressing because it means that barely any of these deals work for me (unless I buy the coupons somewhere and my store usually runs out of things so fast, I wouldn’t have time to get the coupons in the mail). I appreciate your website though, and still manage to find plenty of good deals each week. Crossing my fingers that tomorrow’s coupons are better (and that I actually get the slip on huggies coupon, I really need to buy some of those but have gotten spoiled by all the good deals in the past).

I have an extra booklet I could send Tom…
Amber says
i also have an extra book I can send to someone… I think it have two or three… my walgreens lets me keep the coupons after I use them!
Mindi says
I would love a copy of the booklet. I have 2 in diapers so I hate when I miss a good deal. If you would be willing to send me one email me at [email protected]. Thanks
Julie says
Oooh, I would love one too! Things are pretty tight here and my Walgreens is pretty strict about having the coupons in person. My email is lovesun15ATyahoo.com if anyone has an extra. Thanks so much!!

the last time I tried one of these deals the manager told me my total had to be 30 after coupons in order for the RR to print out. Is there anyy way to verify this or is it manager discretion? I would love to do this gain deal but dont want to go through that again! Thanks in advance!
Charlene says
Tonya, in general this is before coupons. I think there are certain stores that seem to do something that prevents the RR from printing. I will hear from people that have the issue you have and they claim the RR did not print. I don’t know how that could be when the exact same deals work for everyone else in every other city across the country. So all I can say is that I suggest trying a few things at your store. The worst case is you spend a few extra minutes returning the items. You should be able to get a feel pretty quickly for what is going on. I can tell you I had a store that I never got RR when I usedcoupons. I got the same line you are getting- where they said oh well this won’t work because you did xyz. Well guess what? It turns out the manager of the store removed the paper from the machine at the beauty counter. They would send anyone with a lot of coupons to pay at the beauty counter knowing we would not get the RR and then they’d say it was because of coupons. So the answer is no the manager of your store is wrong. But with that being said you will just have to try some deals and see what happens so you know how your store works.
As another option, you can call your information into Catalina and see if they can just mail you whatever Register Rewards you don’t get:

If it was me, I guess I would try the coupon way and see what happens. If the RR does not print, I would buy the same items at the same register and not use any coupons. Then if the RR still doesn’t print you have your answer right there. If it does print then you know they have modified to machines or programmed them or something because thousands of people do this week in and out at Walgreens and it goes just fine. Oh and then just return the stuff you didn’t use coupons on and give them back the RR. I hope that makes sense! A massive pain but then at least you know.

i don’t know if i’m crazy or not (because the coupon almost seems too good to be true) but i think there is a $2 crest complete toothpaste coupon in this week’s SS. That would make that deal a MM!!

Wow. How did you learn the manager removed the paper? Is he/she still the manager? That’s pretty devious of him/her.
Charlene says
I know! Stinkers. An employee finally told me because I would get so upset that I was doing things wrong. Can you believe? She finally told me one day not to pay there and said they were not allowed to fill the paper up.
Ginny says
I went to wags today to try the gain deal and told the cashier as I was checking out that I was hoping the 2 $3 rr would print and she said ” good thing your checking out at the beauty counter because it wouldn’t print if you checked out up front”. I guess lots of wags “forget” to refill the catalina machines.
madraida says
I don’t get why some stores would do that – i.e., “forget” to refill paper. Do they lose money when people use the catalina coupons?
Jeremy says
Has anyone had any luck with the Crest Complete deals? I spent a lot of time on the road this week for work and every time I went past a Walgreens I stopped in and they were out. Either they never had it or someone in Cincinnati cleaned out all the stores by about noon on monday.
Charlene says
Jeremy I think your only bet it catching a store that has restocked later in the week. By now they are all going to be sold out I am sorry to say.
Kbrig012 says
I think nobody in Seattle coupons, or at least very few people do. No store around me is ever sold out of everything. Once, I had a WAGS out of one thing I wanted, but they had more the next day. Other than that, everything is always in stock, even the free things, or the money makers. We never run out of sunday papers, and they’re on sale all week long pretty much everywhere. And the cashiers look at me like I’m ridiculous when I hand them my coupons, or if I want to do separate transactions.
Charlene says
It used to be like that here in Sacramento too. I wish I used coupons back when I lived in Seattle- you have a lot of great stores to choose from!
