This is pretty early to be thinking about the DVD release of The Help, but typically Amazon pre-orders work out the be a great deal.
Amazon is offering a pre-order for The Help on DVD or Blu Ray right now. The release date has not been set yet but what happens is Amazon offers coupons for the pre-release. The coupons are only available for a very short time. Typically the price starts off high on pre-releases and then it will go down as other retailers publish prices for these movies.
Amazon will honor the lowest price available- so if the price gets lower before the movie is released, you will be charged the lowest price available plus the coupon will come off whatever that price is.
If you find that Amazon is considerably higher in price than other retailers, you can just cancel your order before it ships.
The Help on DVD is priced at $20.99
The Help on BluRay is $31.49 and you just click the $5 coupon in the center of the screen and the price is $26.49
I usually don’t buy movies (unless they are Disney) but I really loved this movie and the book and I might just get it.
You can also get the Help MP3 for $7.99 right now.

I know. I loved it too.
Charlene, there’s a $5 Mail-in Rebate for “The Help” movie inside specially-marked boxes of Post Great Grains Cereal. I saw it at Sfwy today and remembered you wanted this movie! Probably these cereals w/the MIR will start arriving in other stores too.
Oh nice. I was on the fence about posting a RA deal for those so that makes it better.
