Target Deals: John Frieda, Renu, Spaghetti-os and more

I wasn’t too excited about anything at Target yesterday, but here are a few deals that I found. These are all unadvertised prices so no guarantees you will find the exact same thing.

An update to the John Frieda deal, it is advertised this week as a $5 gift card when you buy 3 at $5.99.  They pictured the Full Repair in the ad.  I found that the entire lineup was actually included and prices started at $4.84 (Frizz-Ease).

Here are a few deal ideas:

{Deal Idea}
Buy 3 John Frieda Full Repair at $5.99
Use $3/2 Target coupon
and use (3) $1/1 John Frieda coupons from 8/28 SS
Pay $11.97 and get $5 back
Final Price: $2.32 each

{Deal Idea}
Buy 3 John Frieda Brilliant Brunette items at $4.99
Use $3/2 John Frieda Brilliant Brunette, exp. 10/8/11 (SS 08/28/11)
and use $1/1 John Frieda from 8/28 SS
Pay $10.97 and get back a $5 gift card
Final Price: $1.99 each

{Deal Idea}
Buy 3 John Frieda Frizz ease items at $4.84
Use (3) $1/1 from 8/28 SS
or $1/1 from All You August
Pay $11.52 and get a $5 gift card back
Final Price: $2.17 each

Of course you can mix and match however you like, but those are just ideas to get you going.

Bengay Pain Relief and Massage $6.84
Use $5/1 from 9/11 SS
Final Price: $1.84

Renu 12oz Contact Solution $5.99
Use $2/1 Target coupon
and Use $2/1 ReNu Fresh Lens Comfort or Sensitive Eyes printable
Final Price: $1.99
*NOTE: If you like Walgreens, Renu will be free after RR and coupon the week of the 25th.

Up and Up Cough Drops 80ct pack $1.39
Use $.50/1 Target coupon for cold relief item
Final Price: $.89
*I think this is a great price for a great big bag.

Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste $3.00
Use $1.50/1 Target coupon
and use $1/1 Aquafresh Extreme Clean printable
or Use $0.75/1 Aquafresh Premium Toothpaste, exp. 11/30/11 (RP 09/11/11)
or Use $1/1 Aquafresh Extreme Clean Toothpaste printable
or Use $1/1 Aquafresh Extreme Clean Pure Breath Action Product or Iso-Active Product, exp. 11/30/11 (RP 09/11/11)
Final Price: $.50
*My store doesn’t have the can toothpaste, this is for the regular tubes.

Maybelline Wetslicks Lip Gloss $4.84
Use $1/1 Target coupon
and Use $2/1 Maybelline lip item coupon
Final Price: $1.84

Spaghetti-O’s $.62 (15oz original)
Use $.50/5 Spaghetti-os coupon
Final Price: $.52 per can

And I wanted to mention that at my store, they pulled all the tags down mentioning the Starbucks gift card offer. The original sign I saw listed 10/1 as the expiration. I went ahead and bought two bags myself and it did trigger the card. So if you don’t see signs indicating a $5 gift card on Starbucks coffee, you can just take 2 bags with you to the register. have those scanned first and the card should immediately pop up on the screen and the cashier will give it to you. If the card does not trigger, you can always ask to have the items removed from your order.

Also, there were a lot of good deals I posted last week and many are still available.  You might take a quick look through the Target deals before you go shopping.

    Is the Walgreens deal on the ReNu going to be for the same size (12 oz)? I’d rather get RR at Walgreens, then pay at Target. Just trying to plan ahead, thanks!

    Yes TaMara, the Sensitive 12oz Renu will be $6.99 with a $5 RR. Use the $2 coupon and it would be free. At Target they had just the regular contact solution that I noticed.

    Target Cat printed this morning “$5 off Women’s denim bottom, jeans, shorts or skirt x 10/31” & of course my store is brimming over with clearance clothes. I dunno what in my order triggered this denim Cat, but here it is: Merona skirt, Jr. Mossimo tank, Mead binder, Scotch Restickable mounting, & Market Pantry gallon milk (everything but the milk was 75%-off & I had a coupon for ea thing) I am thinking of using the $5 Cat on some denim shorts once they go to 75%-off.

    Savemart had a coupon book (mda) which had manufacturer’s coupons and inside it is a $5 off on any 2 john frieda products. If I got it at savemart, can I use it at another store?

    Elaine, that is a good call. I believe Raley’s has the same booklet- it is orange and says MDA on the front? Yes you sure can use it at Target. I would suggest buying 6 items and use (3) $5/2 coupons and get 2 gift cards back. That makes the price $5.00 or so for all 6 items.
