Safeway Shoppers: Mott’s Applesauce 6pks as low as $.38

If you are a Safeway shopper that has managed to find the Safeway MDA coupon booklet, I have a few really good deals on applesauce:

At Safeway stores:

Mott’s Applesauce 6pks are $2.00
Use the $2/2 from the MDA coupon booklet
Pay $1 per pack

OR if you take your coupon booklet to Target instead you should hopefully find the 6pk of applesauce for $1.67!
So $.67 each after coupon

Now reader Kylene mentioned that she found strawberry applesauce on clearance for $1.38- so $.38 after coupon. I did check my store and found the same clearance deal. Kylene says one store had them marked and one store did not but she scanned them and discovered the price was the same.  (Again this is just the strawberry flavored applesauce.)

So that you may or may not find. I was reading the labels and the strawberry kind has high fructose corn syrup but at my Target the Mott’s Naturals is included in the $1.67 price- so that gives you a few choices depending on what you like.

I am going to get a few packs from Target because this seems like a stock up price to me.
