There is a really nice deal on Arrowhead Sparkling waters at Raley’s right now. I have not tried this myself but reader Christine did the transaction today and says it worked perfectly for her.

Raley’s has an EZ Pic coupon for 1 free when you buy 5 that should come off right at checkout
Subtotal $3.95
Use (3) $1/2 Arrowhead coupons from 8/28 RP
Pay $.95 for all 6 plus CRVPLUS you should get a $1.50 catalina coupon back for buying 5 waters (through 10/5)
So the final price is FREE and that overage will help cover the CRV.
There is a chance that you will get a cashier that does not allow that 3rd $1/2 coupon since the 6th one is free so keep that in mind. I think this should work for most people though.

See the Raleys and Bel Air deals for the week here. I updated all the Raley’s coupons this morning and I also updated the Rhodes Cinnamon rolls- those actually work out to $1.75 a package this week.

Nice filler for free item with $20 purchase so I’ve done it a few times.
I found $1/2 hangtags at several stores
but they scan at .79, so you have to have cashier push them thru
never had a problem with using 3Qs on 6 items.
Their registers don’t seem to acknowledge EZpic discounts
The total for 6 bottles counts toward $20 threshold and so does CRV 😉

there is a coupon for a bogo in the database-so do you think it would work to buy 7, use 2 $1/2 coupons, a bogo coupon and get 2 free ( one from the bogo coupons and one from the EZ Pic Buy 5 get 1 free)?
There was no EX Pic at my Raley’s. I tried the method list and no luck. no free water or coupons. 🙁
Ray, so you purchased exactly the item listed above which is the 1L of sparkling Arrowhead water priced at $.79. You bought a total of 6 of them. You went to checkout and you paid and the 6th water priced at $.79 did not come off the transaction? Is that what happened?
Did you notice any signs advertising the promotion? They should look like the ones listed above and if they are there, the store employees could have given you the $.79 back. You can also contact EZ Pic and let them know a store is not participating but the program should be at each and every store.

As a worst case scenario, you would have paid $1.74 for all 6 and gotten $1.50 back to make a net price of $.24 which still seems pretty great to me!
I did this at my Raley’s. It worked fine, but there were no E Z pic pictures around and the cashier had to push the coupons through, which she did with no problem.
I tried this today and it worked great but there was a hiccup with the coupon. It took off only $.79 and not the $1.00 but after a short discussion with the cashier, he took off the other $.21 manually for each coupon. Thanks for posting this…it was fantastic.
Is the catalina for any arrowhead water? I bought 6-1L regular waters instead of the sparkling, but I never got a catalina. Thanks.

I did this deal on friday. had the same issue as kelly. it was difficult to get the manager to understand what was going wrong so out of frustration she just gave my $1 off after scan the 3 q’s and only get $.79 off per each.
