Menu Plan & Shopping Trip

Here is the menu plan for the week. I have to say I am thoroughly unmotivated this week so I planned some of my husband’s favorites (meaning he will cook dinner).

  • Tacos
  • Braised Pork Chops with Sweet Potatoes and Apples
  • Mozzarella Stuffed Meatballs, pasta and eggplant plus these parmesan rolls
  • Martha Stewart’s Mac and Cheese + Salad
  • Steak Salad
  • Chicken Fajitas
  • Steak and mashed potatoes and leftover spinach salad

Plus the girls and I are going to make homemade applesauce plus a chocolate cake with zucchini.

And then here is my shopping trip:

We love zucchini cake at our house. I tried this one for my mom’s birthday. It was a huge hit! http://tastykitchen.com/recipes/desserts/chocolate-zucchini-cake-6/

I am glad to hear i am not the only person that’s unmotivated this week, but after looking at your menu plan, I don’t think you are unmotivated at ALL! Your plan looks great, as usual, I am jealous of your organization! Have a good week and thanks for the inspirations!

Lol I have been TERRIBLE all summer Bobbi Jo! In fact I flat out retired and my husband has been in charge of cooking. Our diet has really gone downhill so just this weekend I gave myself a pep talk to get my act together :).
