So I am going to tell you about this deal but I am counting on some of you to share your opinions because I really have no idea if this is a great deal or not.

You can get a Google Android Tablet for $99.99 today courtesy of 1SaleaDay.

You can also get 2% cash back by starting with Shop at Home– so that is halfway to a Latte to drink while you enjoy your new tablet.

I am an iPad kind of girl so I really don’t know much about Android but here are the details:

With WiFi built-in, the Pandigital Touchscreen Tablet runs on an Android 2.1 operating system. The high resolution 9-inch touchscreen is great for web-browsing and offers instant access to Barnes & Noble’s online bookstore. You won’t have to worry about running out of room for your e-books and media files, the touchscreen tablet is equipped with 2GB of internal memory and an SD/SDHC card slot.

Enhance your tablet experience by accessing the Android App store and get the latest selection of games and apps to increase productivity or wile away your lunch break. Powered by a Samsung ARM 11 Mobile Processor, the tablet features menu, home, volume control and other hot-buttons for easy navigation of the Pandigital Tablet’s menus and programs.

You might also check out the great new pricing on Kindle devices before you make up your mind!

cheap sale=slow shipping. Im still waiting for my free ipod usb cords. i ended up ordering it on amazon through a 3rd party dealer. Its pretty much hit or miss and when you have money invovled, so buyer be ware. ๐Ÿ™‚

Just a heads up that this is a factory refurbished product – it’s stated in the specs. Not necessarily a bad thing and it still may be a good value, but just an FYI for anyone considering it…

It only runs Android 2.1, and (I believe) that in order to run Flash the Android version needs to be greater than 2.2 (I could be wrong). I’m a fan of all things Google, but these are refurbished (which isn’t, necessarily, a bad thing) and with the new Amazon devices coming soon, I’m holding off. I’ll pay $100 more, but it will be new, supported and updateable…and it will, for sure, run flash.

This is okay, but the tablet is not made by Google, only the operating system (Android) is.

With the iPad, only Apple makes anything that runs on the same system. Alot of manufacturers make tablets running on the Android system, making them differ greatly in quality and performance. This brand, Pandigital, is not in the same league as Amazon or Apple.

may be I will hold off. I need a unit that runs Flash. I have an iPad at home, but most of the pages I want to visit (well, for the kids, educational), runs on Flash and iPad just NOT loading. SUCKS for iPad.

Don’t know about the tablet, but I am not impressed with one sale a day….I ordered things months ago and have yet to receive them, nor do I think I will ๐Ÿ™

I am an Android girl. I have an Android phone and a Samsung tablet. The 2.1 is the older operating system, so the comment about Flash not running would be correct. iPad doesn’t run flash either.

I love Android. There are loads of free apps, especially through the Amazon app store. The best part of Android to me is to be able to run all Google all the time. My calendar (and my husband’s), email, docs, photos and contacts are on my laptop, phone and tablet. I never have to sync them since they are on the Cloud. Any change I make on one device automatically updates on the other devices.

I travel a lot and taking just my tablet is so much better than lugging around a laptop.

If you don’t need Flash, $99 is a great price for a tablet.

I’ve been tablet shopping for quite awhile now, trying to find a cheap tablet to just play games on and check my e-mail at college. I finally bought a Coby Kyros 7inch for $140 and love it to death. I don’t care for $99 tablets since I bought a sylvannia tablet from CVS and it was terrible so I returned it.

One thing though, for the people who are interested in buying this tablet, it’s Android 2.1 so flash will not work on websites and I believe games aren’t that great either. You MIGHT be able to upgrade to andriod 2.2, which flash is supported, but I can’t promise anything.

If you’re looking to buy a tablet, I would honestly wait until the holidays come up.

    ***ALSO***
At some CVSs, there’s a 7inch craig tablet that you can get for $99 which the reviews on youtube and google were great on it but I couldn’t find one if my area. If you want a $99 tablet, look at your local CVS for the Craig. It might come in Android 2.1 but I know you can upgrade to 2.2 with that tablet. I would’ve gotten the craig if CVSs around here carried them.

    Hope this review helps.

I just bought a Samsung galaxy tab 7 an Amazon for $333. which i thought was a fairly good deal, and today i noticed its now on sale for $305.97 so i was able to get a refund for the difference. So if anyone is looking for a smaller tab i think this is a great deal. I like it way better than the ipad. And its Google so you can customize it, unlike apple products.

They have this same brand refurbished at Amazon for $89.99 but it’s white. The reviews are mixed. If you’re expecting something like an iPad or a better Android tablet you’ll be disappointed. The ones who gave good reviews knew what they were getting and just expected something basic. I was thinking of getting one for my little boys (10 and 7) for Christmas though.
