Free Museum Day 2011 (9/24)

Free Museum Day is back again- it is available nationwide on 9/24 only. You just enter your address and you should see a list of participating venues.

This is worth taking a look at because there can be all sorts of places included.

You will get one ticket per household and that ticket will get 2 people in for free!  Some of the venues have limited tickets available so it is usually best to get your ticket printed early.

I don’t think I have taken advantage of this while living in California but I know when we lived in Seattle there were tons of venues to choose from.

Thanks Living as Mom!

Last year we went to the train museum in Old Sac… It was a rainy day, I don’t see that happening this year. There are a lot to choose from in our area, including the Zoo as I recall.

There is a free museum day in California. There is a BIG list of CA museums around the Sacramento area that are free for the entire day, no special ticket needed. Just google, free museum day sacramento, and you’ll find the list. And yes, the zoo, fairy tale town, the train museum, sutters fort, ect, are all included. They do get busy, but once you find parking, it’s well worth it!
