There is another promotion available at Toys R Us through Saturday 13th. Get $10 off a $25 purchase of Cars 2 merchandise.
Now there are so many great deals this week at Toys R Us that overlap with this offer I decided to test this out this morning at my store.
I bought a Cars 2 Backpack for $14.99, a lunch bag for $7.99 (free with purchase of backpack) and a toy for $12.99. The subtotal was $27.98 and the $10 did not come off. We tried it without the backpack and just rang up the toy twice and the $10 still did not come off.
I pulled up the advertisement for this offer and the cashier kept assuring me that the manager would take care of it and eventually I got sick of waiting for the slowest manager on Earth and I just left the store.
So depending on your patience level and the competence level at your store you might find yourself a good deal. The only exclusions listed are on potties, step stools and boosters and I don’t see anywhere that says this is online only.

I checked online and this is working perfectly- I can see the Leapfrog items, Wii games, backpacks and more all included in the offer. It looks like online you can only get one promotion- so I was not able to get a backpack and free lunchsack plus the $10 off. The same with the Cars 2 Crayola items that are BOGO this week.
If you have little Cars fans this might be worth checking out! Shipping runs about $8 or some items can be ordered online and picked up in store. Considering my fiasco this morning I would strongly recommend that option.
One last option would be to register for Shoprunner: Shoprunner is a free shipping service, you pay an annual fee and you get free 2 day shipping at a variety of merchants. It is actually a pretty cool service because you can order whatever amount you want from a ton of places and it ships free 2 day. They do offer a free 30 day trial of the service but you have to be careful because if you don’t cancel you will be charged for the year of service (I think $76).

I did this deal on Saturday when it started. I went to babies r us and got a cars 2 backpack for $14.99, a toy story lunch kit for $7.98 and a cars 2 toy for $9.99. After tax I ended up paying a little over $16 so it worked for me. I paid for the backpack and got the lunch kit and toy free!

I went to Toys R Us today and they actually had signs for this sale up all over the place. I didn’t try the back pack deal but I bought 6 cars at $4.19 a piece and it worked just fine. No override necessary.
