So I was running all over the place today because my little darling girl turns 4 today. I have two girls that love Diego and Dora and I have been on a quest to find good deals with the Target coupon for 20% off any Dora Ballet item.

To recap, here are the deals I found:

Dora the Explorer Ballet Backpack $12.59- through 8/20
Use 20% off Dora Ballet item Target coupon
Final Price: $10.07 (looks like this)

Use 20% Dora Ballet Target coupon
Final Price: $15.99
Use 20% off Dora Ballet item Target coupon
Final Price: $7.99
And then reader Ashley mentioned finding little dresses too.  I only saw a purple dress that is not a “Dora Ballet item” it was like Woodland fairy or something.
But I went back and checked again and I noticed an empty shelf with a “Dora Ballet Dress” tag today.  So it appears the little pink dress above is considered a ballet item and would qualify for the coupon.  This week only it is on sale for $13.99 and with the 20% Target coupon you would pay $11.19. That is really a good price for a dress up outfit and this might even be a cute little Halloween costume. And on that note, should your little miss decide a fairy wand is in order to go with the dress, I noticed 3 packs of pink ribbon wands in the party favor section for $2.00.
So I got a raincheck today for this dress and if you want to call and see if your store carries it, the DPCI # is: 086022587.
.
*Side note:  This is just my personal experience (and worth the price you paid) but with Back to School and Halloween items, I find it is best to shop earlier rather than later.  I find that if you hold out for the best possible deal or clearance price, you will be left with very little to choose from.   So your little rough and tumble boy might be stuck with a Piglet costume or your sweet little princess might be going as a Dinosaur this year.

Did you read the 2 reviews on this dress? I was going to buy, but now I’m not so sure?

You know I did not. I expect an $11 dress to last a short time though and really all those princess dresses seem like they aren’t that well made. I’ll have to decide when I can actually see it in person. For Halloween if I can get away with $11 for a costume I would be happy 😉
