Target Deals: Oral B Toothbrushes and $5 off Backpacks!

Two clever readers passed along some nice Target deals for this week.

The first deal is from reader Robyn who found these Oral-B Professional 1000 toothbrushes for $39.99
There is an Oral B rebate available to get 50% of the purchase price refunded
Final Price: $19.99

Robyn says her last Oral B toothbrush lasted 6 years and you can read other reviews on this toothbrush here.

Reader Harrington figured out a really exceptional deal at Target. I am going to tell you exactly what she did and then offer a second scenario:

She found 4 boxes of Cars 2 Rice Krispies treats for $1.18 (these are on clearance and won’t be available at every store.)
She also bought an Embark backpack priced at $7.99
Used (4) $.50/1 Target coupons for Rice Krispies treats
and Used (2) $1/2 Rice Krispies treats from 8/7 RP
AND used $5 off a backpack when you buy 4 Kellogg’s or Keebler items
Final Price: $3.71!

Now she got a crazy good deal and there are lots of variables such as finding those clearance packs, being able to print and use all those Target coupons and whether you got the $1/2 coupon (I didn’t.)

So here is another scenario:

Buy 4 Rice Krispies treats at $1.99 (these are the non-Cars 2 boxes)
Buy 1 Embark backpack at $7.99
Use (4) $.50/1 Target coupons for Rice Krispies
and Use (2) $1/2 from 8/7 RP
and Use $5 off backpack coupon
Final Price: $6.95

You’ll need to adjust that deal based on how many coupons you have and if your store limits you to one like Target coupon per transaction.

One last note is that you might check your coupons. Target had a coupon for: Kellogg’s Snack Items – Nutri-Grain Cereal Bars 8ct. or Rice Krispies 8ct. or larger $1 off 2 last weekend. I am not seeing the coupon now, but if you happened to print it before you should for sure be able to use that plus a $.50/1 Target coupon for the treats if your store limits you to one like coupon.

Harrington bought all these items for a Back to School donation drive!  Even if you don’t eat Rice Krispies, they would be a very cute touch for any donations or you can even put them away and pass them out at Halloween.
