Have you tried to buy the johnson and johnson first aid kits? I went to target and they said the coupon wasn’t allowed to be used on the products, but that couldn’t give me a reason. 🙁 Oh well!
Grace, I used mine at cvs with no problem. Maybe try another time. Sounds like you got a stinker cashier.
I tried to purchase 2 travel-size Degree deodorants at Target yesterday. The cashier told me they couldn’t accept the $1/1 coupons for the Degree because they cost less than $1. She caught it, not the computer. I would guess that I wasn’t the first person trying the deal.
I also tried the Degree coupon. The cashier said they have been told to look out for them & stop them. The coupon price exceeds the value.
I’ve had Target stop my couponing pal with me before when her coupon was more than her item. The cashier told her that she couldn’t use the coupon because it was more than the actual price of the item. so I promptly pulled out my handy dandy Target Coupon policy and showed them where it states “Coupon amount may be reduced if it exceeds the value of the item after other discounts or coupons are applied. We can’t give cash back if the face value of a coupon is greater than the purchase value of the item.” After the manager read this, she reduced the coupon to make her item a freebie and it worked out fine..
Not sure if you knew this Charlene but a LOT of the Target coupons are gone now. We were out of town earlier this week and I didn’t print them before we left so I missed out on them. 🙁
I had the same problem at Target. The cashier was in a foul mood and refused my coupons, so I got a manager and he instructed the cashier to manually enter the coupon for the product amout ($.97 instead of $1.00)
