Just wanted to remind those of you that shop at Raley’s what a great weekend this will be.
There is a $5 off Black Angus Beef or Full Circle Roast coupon (limit 2)- change acct to meat preference
Black Angus beef is on sale this week for $5.99/lb. I did check my store and found packages of rib eye steak for $5.80. So I think this coupon is for any Black Angus beef and if that is the case you can really get a steal.
Also, if you purchase 6 packs of fresh pork or Black Angus beef and get 10% off at checkout. Now fresh pork spareribs are $1.99/lb. So if you buy 4 packages plus get the 2 packages of Black Angus beef, you should wind up paying $1.79/lb for the pork which is a good price.
UPDATE: I did try this with (2) Rib Eye steaks and the $5 did not come off. My store was willing to just give me $5 back in cash- so I paid $2.50 per steak. I thought that was still a fantastic deal. If anyone buys something and actually has this coupon work let us know what item you bought. If you decide to try using this coupon on Black Angus steaks just be aware that the coupon does not seem to be working. You can take your receipt to customer service and see if they will help you.
Last, there is a sale on McCain potatoes this week for $2/bag.
I did check at my store and they don’t carry the McCain Purely Potatoes, but if your store does, use the $1/1 McCain’s coupon and pay $1 per bag.
Then as long as you save the $1/1 Savingstar coupon to your Raley’s Quality of Life* card, you get a $1 rebate back making these free!
PLUS this week there are a lot of good deals and a Raley’s coupon for a free cantaloupe.
See the Raley’s deals for the week here.
*So you have to get this “Quality of Life” card in order to use the Savingstar coupons. I have not been able to get one from my store yet but maybe you can try customer service at your store or call Raley’s corporate and see if you can get one. It is a totally free loyalty type card that allows Savingstar to keep track of what you purchase.

How do you change preferences to your account? I promise I’ve tried looking everywhere? Thanks for your time….
Hi, Am I just missing the coupon for the meats? I can’t find it 🙁
Erin you have to follow the direction in the post and change your account preference to fine meats.
Michelle just click on your account which is right on the homepage. Then click update account. Then change to whatever preference that I list in the post and click save. Then get the coupon. You need to have it all filled out- your address and everything or you might not be able to see all the coupons.
I just tried this and it did not work. The register said tri tip and it did not take anything off the balance. The manager did allow the cashier to do it manually because it says any black angus beef.
The coupon did not work for me either. My hubby has been begging for some steak so still bought it. It would have been an amazing deal if it would have worked.
My East Bay, CA Nob Hill honored the $5 coupon for only tri-tip roasts. I complained that the wording on the beef coupon is misleading because of the misplaced modifier making it sound like it’s good on “any Black Angus beef” — it’s “any Black Angus beef tri-tip roast”.
I still did OK, however. For about $15, I got the FREE melon, the FREE sausage, two bananas, four packages of fresh pork (I purposely selected packages under $2), one top sirloin steak (coupon didn’t work on it), and one tri-tip roast (coupon worked). The extra 10%-off on pork & beef worked when I bought the six packages. So, for the tri-tip roast the calculation looked like this: $8.57 – $5 Q – $0.36 (which is 10% off $3.57).
Clearance find: T-Cups Starbucks Coffee, 12 ct. for $3.99
I have had a “Quality of Life” card for years. You just go to PBS.org and request one there. It gets mailed to you real fast. I’ll see if I can find a link. I had requested one to raise money for local schools.
Here’s the link or a Q of L card: http://www.kvie.org/support/qualityoflife/default.htm
Oh that is great info Jessie, thank you!
Wow! Thanks I never knew I could change my preference and find even more coupons!
Quality of Life cards are for different organizations. My church’s Sunday School offers us one and I scan it every time I go. Every so often (6 months maybe) we get a check – I think it’s like 1%.
I’m confused about the $5 meat coupon. It is $5 off 2 beef items or you can use 2 $5 coupons? Can you just get one beef item and get $5 off since limit 2 – you may only want one?
They would not allow me to use it at my store, even the manager said no. That is was $5 off tri-tip only!! Bummer, really needed to stock up the freezer on meats
well, looks like i had the same situation as you charlene with the $5 beef coupon. the manager honored it and I got the steaks for between free and $1, but technically he said it was supposed to be for the tri-tip only. i had quite a day actually. my gain deal also did not work, but the manager at my safeway did everything he could to figure out the problem. what we figured out was the catalina was printing for the larger sized detergents and two other gain products. he agreed that since it didn’t state a size on the coupon network printout it should have printed, but it just wouldn’t work with the smaller detergent. he was so nice though, he gave me the catalina anyway. great customer service. i actually tried to give him the catalina back because i didn’t feel right about taking it, and he handed it back and said to keep it.
My coupon actually says “$5 off any fresh raleys black angus beef or full circle natural beef tri tip roast.” I’m afraid to go use it with everyone having trouble but if it mentions both, I would think everyone would be having so many issues using it.
My beef packages were turned away, I was told it had to be for a tri-tip only. Bummer… I wanted those steaks! Oh well.
I went in today to get some of the cheap corn and a few other things. I wanted to let you know about a couple things I found. All of the McCain potatoes were marked 2 for $4, but the smileys rang up at 99 cents each!! I ran back in and got 3 more bags after I noticed my receipt. I think that is a great price for a fairly healthy convenience item!!! Also, I got a coupon at checkout for a free clif fruit rope (or whatever you call those things). I am about 99% sure that it was the Annie’s mac and cheese that triggered it.
I used this coupon on two rather large rib eye steaks that were $9+ each. I had shown the coupon to the butcher and he agreed that it should work. He suggested that I go to the floor manager which I did to check with him. He also looked at it and agreed. It did not accept the coupon but he gave me $10 off for it. He then left to check and see why it was not working automatically when scanned and to have it fixed (at least at my store). What a great deal. And they tasted fantastic!
