We get this subsription and I find it’s more like a Scholastic book. It’s not your typical magazine with ads. The pages are thick like a book and there are activities on almost every page. Great for kids 6 and under.

I have this subscription for my daughter, who is almost 4; she loves getting it in the mail, and like Rose said, the pages are thick and sturdy. We still have magazines from last year that get read! The magazines usually have a main article about one type of animal, then games like “Can you spot…”, and matching games.
