CVS Coupons for 8/28-9/3 and CVS Gas Card Scenario

Here are some of the coupons printing from the CVS Coupon Scanner this week. Note these are random coupons so you are not guaranteed to get them. You will want to keep scanning your card until the machine tells you no more coupons are available.

  • Always 20ct Liners- Free!
  • $5 off $50 Olay, Old Spice, Clairol or Crest (this is actually a good one to do with that rebate and the ECBs on Olay this week)
  • Orbit Gum $1 off

Did anyone else get good ones worth noting this week?

Also, I think this might be the last shot at the gas card.  So here is an idea:

Buy 2 Visine Drops $5.98 for both
Buy 4 Tide Laundry Soap Powder at $5.94 each
Buy 1 Dawn Dish Soap at $.99
Total: $30.73
Use:
(2) $3 off Visine Coupons
and Use (4) $2/1 Tide Powder from 7/17 SS (these expire 8/31!)
and Use $.50/1 Dawn from 8/28 P&G
Pay: $16.23 and Get $10 Gas Card
Final after Gas Card: All for $6.23 including 4 Tide!

(Thanks Don’t Make Me Nuts!)

Here is another idea for those that don’t like powder soap:

Buy 4 Tide Liquid at $5.94
Buy 2 Visine at $5.98 for both
and Buy Dawn Dish soap at $.99
Use (2) $3 Visine Coupons
and Use $.50/1 Dawn soap from 8/28 P&G
and Use (4) $1/1 Tide Detergent from 7/31 P&G (expires 8/31!)
Pay $20.23 and get back the $10 gas card

That makes the net price $10.23 and is like paying $2.55 per Tide and you get the Visine and soap free!

Either way this is a great time to stock up on Tide if that is your favorite!

See the CVS deals for the week here.

And one quick note, if you happened to get the Free Hershey’s Air Delight when you buy a Hershey’s Bar in the 8/28 SS, I would hold onto that coupon.  Starting next week at CVS, the Air Delight is .99 with a $.99 ECB back (limit 1).  So you could buy a Hershey’s Bar at $.99, use the coupon to get a second bar free and still get back the $.99 ECB.

I’m loving your first Tide scenario, I like to use powdered detergent when I put a load of laundry on time delay. If I do that one this week, with what I already have, I’ll be good with laundry detergent until next summer 😉

Lisa, my concern is that the stores might be out of stock already :(. You can divvy up that purchase though, it doesn’t need to be all at once. I was nearly trampled to death by coupon people at Target trying to test that Febreze deal so it seems to be a whole new ball game these days.

yeah, it’s too popular. Target didn’t have any of the deals either… oh i miss the obscure days of couponing 🙂

you should hold on to your ECB for the Orbit gum 14pk that the red machine gives out this week. Orbit gum will be B1G1F next week, but the ECB will expire on 9/5 so you will have to get it Sunday or Monday.

My P&G ad had $1 off Dawn Plus, and my local CVS included that in the .99 sale, so I was able to get credit toward the gas card, but pay nothing for the Dawn. I had multiples of the $1 Dawn coupon, so I had to make 2 trips.

@Jennifer, wow $1off dawn plus :o, my coupon are only .75 off.
The visine drops are 4.99 the cheapest at my cvs, so, 7.48 total after B1G50%off and i got 2 $3 off coupons… =(

JJ, 1.48 is still a good price for 2. That is just for a filler really to hit the 30 mark. I am thinking I will skip Visine and do this:

    5.94 Tide x 5= $29.70.
    Use (5) $1 coupons
Pay $29.70 and get $10 back

That is still $3.94 each which is a great price.

I had a gas card voucher I about to expire. Could only find Shell cards in local CVS- Shell gas so much higher than Arco that it hardly seems worth it to me..

Check your stash-I have a $1/2 Orbit tearpad exp 8-31.
orbit was 1.49 last I checked
Scan card today and tomorrow, get 2 x $1 orbit
    2.98-orbit x 2
    minus
    2.00 -CVS coupon x 2
    1.00-tearpad
adjust -.02 for 2 free packs.

Should get these every day so you can get another closer to the end of the week for the bogo deal mentioned by Chantay

Can you repeat this deal as many time as you want? Or, do they limit it to just one gas card a week?
