In August there will be a tax free weekend in select states! Make sure you check out this Sales Tax Free Weekend list to find out exactly what states are participating and the dates available.
You can see specific details about what is included in your state as well- some have tax free clothing purchases, some computers etc…. For those of us in Cali, well you didn’t actually think we would have a tax free weekend did you? Not a chance! BUT you might keep an eye on Kohl’s this weekend because sometimes they do a little promotion.
None for us in Michigan either. I kind of feel like everyday is a tax free day at Target. I get 5% off with my Red Card and our sales tax is 6% here.
