Coupon says limit one coupon or offer per transaction?
Beth, all the coupons say that and you will have to learn your store’s specific policy. In all the years I have used coupons at Target, I have never once been limited to one Target coupon per transaction but a small minority of stores do enforce the limit. You just need to ask and if your store is one of them just modify the scenario to accommodate your situation.
The coupon says 1 per transaction. Some Target stores will only let you use 1.
Charlene,
Saw this on the news on Wed: http://www.myfoxphilly.com/dpp/good_day_philadelphia/Extreme_Couponing_Countermeasures_062911
It states Target will no longer allow “stacking”. Just a head’s up that everyone should check the coupon policy (it may have changed!)
The article concerns Rite Aid and Target, and there is more in the video that in the written article.
FYI The free smart waters are the 20oz. I picked up the wrong size
because they were displayed with the Vitamin waters. I had to search for the correct size. I was however, able to use 2 of the Target coupons in one transaction.
Kristie, I keep hearing of a change in the Target policy but as far as I can see they are using the term “stacking” incorrectly. I don’t think it means stacking store and MQ, I think it is the BOGO change we saw a few weeks ago.
I guess we’ll have to see but if you see something specifically referencing a store q and MQ let me know. I think these reporters write articles and they have no idea what they are talking about sometimes 😉
Thanks! Luckily today I grabbed some vitaminwater coupons I found at Walgreens today. They were 0.55/1. I combined it with this offer, and my total, after tax & crv came up to about $5.
I just got back from Target where they told me I could not use a Target coupon on the Vitamin Water because I was getting the Smart Water free. Is this something I should try to argue about?
