Target Trip

Here is my Target trip from yesterday. Thank goodness I forgot some of the Sharpie coupons on my printer because those will be free next week.

2 packs of Sharpie markers $1.54- used $1 Target coupon= $.54 each
1 Scotch Magic Tape $1- used $1 coupon= Free
2 Ziploc 100ct bags $2.50-Used $1/2 Target coupon and $1/2 coupon= $1.50 each
2 Papermate pens $1.02- used $1/1 Target= .02 each
4 Kids Hair items $.50 each (Dollar spot clearance)
1 Kids mirror/hairbrush $.50 (Dollar spot clearance)
1 Kid’s Duckie Hamper $1.25 (Dollar spot clearance)

Total was $7.87

The hampers are flimsy but I think they are so handy. You could use them to hold bathroom toys, pool toys or you can get some exercise by chasing your kids around and telling them to take the duckie off their heads.

I actually needed something cheap and easy to put towels in by the pool so this worked out for that.

Those hampers are also great for storing stuffed animals.

Our supply seems to mulitply overnight so I tell my son he can only have as many fit in his pop up hamper. When it gets to full it’s time to get some away.

Oh I like that ducky hamper! I might have to check out Target tonight. We have one like that, maybe a little bigger that I bought at IKEA a few years ago and stuff all of my son’s stuffed animals in it currently:-)

I am wondering if anyone who is reading this blog signed up for Target debit card. I have been told that this card gives you 5% saving (after all your coupons and gift cards have been applied). Do you think that is good deal or would you rather stay away from this?

I bought the Sharpies yesterday as well, and now I’m wondering if Target will do a price adjustment starting Sunday when it makes them free. Do you know how that works? Or if it’s even worth it?

Kirsten, I am pretty sure you can get an adjustment within 7 days of purchase. I am not going to bother with it but I only bought 2 packs myself.

Howdy, I didn’t notice any beeps but I handed her several coupons and she K1’d two of them. It might have been the tape one. It was super fast for me and a great cashier.

My tape coupons beeped as well, but they pushed them through.

I am trying to remember when the great target toy clearance day is… is it the last Thursday in July that things have been marked down the last few years?

price match? you can, but it’s a hassel when you use “target” Q. some cashier will say, it is cheaper after you use target Q. some cashier will return and repurchase + manually adj the Target Q.

just a pain in the rear. easier? just return and repurchase later with more target Q.

As a classroom teacher, I used one(a frog of course) for tissues brought in for supplies. It broke and I have not found another one since…maybe now! ๐Ÿ™‚

I went to Target with my coupons today. I was lucky enough to be able to use the $1 and the .50 TARGET coupon making my glue and the Bic pens free.

I got the ducky hamper for .62 today, as well as a bunch of other items for .25. I put away that kinda stuff for stocking stuffers.
