I mentioned the Target toy clearance a few times and just wanted to remind you to keep an eye out! Target typically marks down tons of toys in July and in October each year.
I remember October was a total dud last year so better get those engines running for July! Once toys hit 75% off it is a great time to stock up for birthday gifts and even Christmas. (Plus don’t forget all the holiday toy drives and Operation Christmas Child boxes!)
So my store was still at 30% with just a few items at 50% off over the weekend.
Usually Wednesday is the day that Target marks down toys but some stores are on Thursday. You might want to keep an eye out because stuff does go quick!
Every store will have a different schedule for marking things down. You can always call and ask- I am thinking each store should hit 75% off within the next 3 weeks.

I checked my store last night and most items were 50% off. Almost there!
I was at a Houston target this morning, a decent selection of 30% is now available.
My Store in Dublin, Ca was at 30%. I’m hoping it will go down more soon!! 🙂
several stores in my area have shoes on clearance! up to 75% off! I’ve gotten several pairs for my son for $3.74, some converse for me for 7.48! awesome deals! 🙂
My store had a bunch BUNCH of kids’ jeans on sale for $1. I bought each color in the next 4 sizes (since that was all the sizes they had!)
I was at my Target last weekend and the shoes were at 75% off. I bought a couple pairs for the kiddos and spent under $15 for what would have cost $60! Plus there were quite a few toys at 30% to 50% off but all the clothes were only 30% off. I’m hoping this week when I go they’ve dropped them even more so I can stock up!
I asked a manager at our store, and he said that they are doing a “reset” in the toy aisles on August 1st. I’m guessing that means that we need to be on the look out for higher clearance in about a week!
I am so anxious for the toys to hit 75% off. I’m not going to say how many times I have been to Target this week (or tell my husband), but lets just say I’m not proud of it!
My store was only at 30% – but I found 2 TRIO toys on clearance, and was able to use the Target 25% off coupon – so I got a total of 55% off! I also got the $.50 pillows, free Sharpies, and cheap Bic & Paper mate pens. It was an awesome trip! Thanks Charlene for all your hard work!

My husband and I have been keeping an eye…well…stalking the Targets near our home and offices for the past 2 weeks. Ugh! I think the employees are starting to recognize me! We missed the January clearance this year. We just can’t miss July! 🙁
