So Christy at Thrifty and Thriving found a hidden catalina deal that is running at Target. And you guys know I don’t believe anything until I test it myself so I was forced to do a chocolate run for research purchases.
What seems to be happening, is that you splurge on a Wonka Exceptionals 3.5oz Chocolate bar at $1.97 and go pay for it. Watch the catalina machine and you should get a coupon for a second bar FREE! Go back and get chocolate bar #2 and pay $0 and then you will hopefully get yet another coupon for a FREE bar!
I don’t know how long this will last or what the limit is but I got 2 bars total and a 3rd catalina coupon to use next time. Now I wanted to leave some bars for others to get a shot at this deal so I just left, but basically that works out to $1.97 for 3 bars for me or .65 each!
Hopefully the catalina is still printing the next time I shop and then the price per bar gets better and better.

It’s like a real golden ticket!
Guess that means I just HAVE to go to target again… and again 😀 not that I mind. I bought a couple mead composition books today $1 each, not a great deal, but I got $5 in coupons for other supplies I have store Q’s for. SO get to put them together for great deals as they go on sale!
I got this a the other day too by buying a reeses peanut butter cup.I also got a $1 off any 12 pack of soda cat. Never seen that one before.
I got one yesterday and I didn’t purchase a chocolate bar. All I had in my cart was Ore Ida fries, Smart Ones, pork chops and Cars cereal. I also got a $3/1 Reach 2pk.!
I got the free wonka bar catalina yesterday but did not purchase any. Maybe it’s random:)
I got a catalina I wasn’t expecting at Target yesterday too. I bought two Up & Up pantyliners with the Target coupons and a cat printed for .75/1 any Up & Up feminine product.
I got it and the only candy item I bought was 2 bags of chocolate covered raisins.
ever since I got my target red card I don’t get
any catalinas. I noticed and then I prove it
when I pay with my regular card I get them and
right after I used my red card and I did not.

It worked for me:) I also used a coupon I had for a B1G1 free for wonka bars. So now I got at least 3 for the price of 1:) Haven’t used the other coupon yet to see if I get a free one with the catalina coupon though…

I got the free coupon today as well. Didn’t buy any chocolate, just some toiletries and clearance summer stuff. Who knows what triggers it!
Oh nuts! I shop Target all the time and the only one I have received is from the bar I bought. How exciting, it will be a treasure hunt when I check out now.
I bought a Wonka Bar tonight…paid 1.97…got Free Wonka Bar catalina…used the catalina on another bar right away..printed another catalina…the cashier just could not believe it…I got a total of 6 free bars tonight
Which Targets did you go to? I went to one in Woodinville, WA and got nada.
