Thank you for doing these. I try to check the list before going to Walmart or Target. This past week, I had to argue with the cashier at Walmart about the Cascade and at Target about the dental floss. Had to get the managers. It all worked out in my favor, but I REALLY dislike having to argue with them. The only reason I do it at all is just to help anyone who may be trying to make the same purchase after me. Otherwise, I would just think it is not worth it. Now I try to go to the male cashiers. I have never had a problem with them.

Dawn, I completely agree with everything you said!!! I greatly appreciate the time and effort that is put into this site. Also, I like to go to male cashiers too. I have found a lot of the women will question everything. I know they have a job to do and dont want to get into trouble. Because, there are those who are trying to commit fraud. But, some that I have encountered make me want to pull my hair out. The product on the coupon is the product I am buying. I dont know why you need to argue with me about it. The men just ring the items and move on.. It makes everything so much easier and quicker for everyone.

Yes, thank you! It may seem trivial, but I did not buy toothpaste yesterday thinking “There has to be a Colgate coupon out there that I am just not finding.” Ask and you shall receive, thanks to the wonderful folks who run sites such as My Frugal Adventures! Thanks again!

I tried the colgate sweepstakes to get the coupon but it didn’t work. Anyone else have any problems?

Charlene, would my price-matching scenario work at Walmart if I did this-
Buy 2 Zyrtec @ $5.27 each
Buy 2 Bic round stick pens 10’s (pricematch to Staples $.01)
Use coupons: 2 x $5 Zyrtec printable MQs
In order to get the pricematch for pens do I have to spend $5 out of pocket? (I chickened out at Walmart & didn’t try this & want to check with you. No Big Girl Pants for me !)

There is a $5/2 Revlon beauty tools Target coupon that I wish I remembered which insert I clipped from. I used it today and got an eyelash curler $2.99 and fingernail clippers $2.24 for 23 cents. There were lots of other free options too- nail files, pumice stones, etc. When I checked out, I received 4 coupons- (2) $2 off Revlon beauty tool and (2) $5/2 Revlon beauty tools. That’s a lot of free stuff!
Brookesays
Endcapps, you cannot price match the $.01 pens because walmart’s policy doesn’t allow the ‘buy-this-to-get-this-for-$x.xx’ offers…

Brooke, thx for your help!

I used my 4 Revlon beauty tool coupons today and received the same 4 at checkout! I got: pumice stone, eyelash curler, tweezers, nail clippers, and 2 packs of emery boards for $0.80 plus tax. I couldn’t find any Revlon items at the Fairway Drive Target, but there are plenty at the Douglas Blvd.

I had a problem at Target with the colgate toothpaste. I had the $1 off target coupon with the $1 off manufacture coupon and the cashier scanned the manufacture coupon with no problem but the target coupon wouldn’t work. The toothpaste was on sale for $1.99 so after the manufacture coupon it was .99 and i was thinking maybe that it had to be a full $1 for the target coupon to work?

No Corina, I think what happened is you might have had the wrong coupon for the item you were buying. With toothpaste you have to be careful to buy the exact product the coupon is for. If the coupon says Colgate Toothpaste Max White- you can’t buy any Colgate or you couldn’t buy Colgate Max Fresh- it might be exactly what the coupon says and the size it says. I can’t think of any toothpaste that is free right now unless you found it on clearance.
