Reminder: Donate Your Expired Coupons

Just a quick reminder that you can donate any expired coupons you might have to overseas military families. There are a TON of coupons expiring 7/31.

Many military members stationed overseas don’t have access to coupons and they can use them at the commissary after they have expired.

So this is a very simple thing to do to support our military and their families.  They can use the coupons up to 6 months after they expire but you will want to try and mail them within a few weeks of their expiration.

You can send your coupons to the Overseas Coupon Program.  You will need to fill out a very short form to adopt a base and then you will hear from someone with the details of where you can send your coupons!

I just looked at the website and read….
    “What type of Coupons?

“Manufacturer’s Coupons” are the coupons of choice since they are accepted at any store. Coupons from the dispensers in grocery stores, from the internet and from your local newspaper inserts, and dozens of other places are good as long as those magic words are on them: “Manufacturer’s Coupon.”

In AZ you can drop off your coupons at the local VFW and they will send them.

I send tons of coupons overseas each month! It’s part of a community project I take part in called Coupons for a Cause. If you would like to send me your expired coupons, I would happily send them over with the rest that we collect 🙂

Katherine and Felicia, Do you guys have e-mail address’s. Happy to send coupons…but need more info on where to send. I live in Southern California and here you have to add them up and sort them…just too much work for me right now.
