Well I have a fun giveaway for your Wednesday afternoon. Two lucky winners will each score one $50 American Express gift card to use on whatever it is they would like courtesy of Lifetime Television network.
This is a promotion for the new tv series called Against the Wall where a Chicago police officer is promoted to detective for Internal Affairs. This creates some conflict with her family of fellow police officers.
I have actually been watching the previews of this and I already have it added to my DVR. I usually like these types of shows and they keep me company when I am doing store matchups late at night!
If you want to check out a preview of this new TV series, you should be able to see it below:
The show premieres on July 31st on Lifetime TV at 10pm.
And on to the giveaway!! Two lucky readers will score a $50 gift card from American Express to use on whatever it is you want!
If you would like to enter to win just leave a comment below and let me know what you’d do with your $50! Most of us would probably do something practical like fill the gas tank but if I was forced to do something fun with the money, I’d probably go get a massage. Or maybe I’d hire a housecleaning service so I can take a nap. It has been a rough day for me so a margarita machine would come in handy as well….
I wanted to mention there is an Earthbound Farms coupon available for $2 off 2 items. They make all sorts of organic products from salad mix to juices to granola.
This coupon is available from Recylebank and it is on sale today for 25 points. So it should only take you a second to get those points and you can cash in to print this coupon.
They typically do this a few times a year and the stores get wiped out FAST so you really have to be on the ball. I like this time of year to get a head start on Christmas toys as well as any little birthday gifts and holiday donation items.
Remember this is clearance so it will be different for each and every store. I popped into my store this morning and they were at 50% off and even 30% off for some items but I have a feeling they might have been marking things down a little further.
If you head into your store and see 30% off signs or 50% off signs it doesn’t hurt to take an item to the price scanner and just check that the signage is correct. You might get a nice surprise!
Wednesday is mark down day for the toy department at most stores but it could be tomorrow too. You can always just call ahead and ask before you head out!
Reader Lawanda said her store hit 75% off today and one lady seemed to have emptied the shelves all by herself.
Here are the Savemart Deals for the week. This is based on the Nor CA ad so you will want to double check your local ad for regional variations! Lucky’s Shoppers should have a very similar ad- but be sure to double check! Not all stores accept internet coupons. You might want to call ahead and check before you head out!
I heard CVS was going to start offering these new send to card CVS coupons and I have been waiting and waiting to get one of my very own. Viola! This morning one finally hit my inbox and I can’t wait to give it a whirl.
Basically they are offering the choice now of printing out your CVS coupons or just click a button and it will be sent to your CVS card. This saves on printing the coupon and also on remembering to print the coupon which seems to be a problem for me.
The only thing is that if you send it to your card it is applied to your next purchase. So if you won’t be spending the minimum amount the next time you shop, you might want to just print the coupon instead.
You can read the CVS Couponing 101 post to learn about shopping at CVS and you can register for CVS coupons by signing up for the emails.
