Lowe’s Build and Grow Clinics (Free School Locker)

This is actually a really cute freebie. If you would like to take the kiddos into Lowe’s on Saturday 8/27, they are building these little school lockers. The kit, chalkboard and chalk are all totally free plus your child gets a free apron, goggles, a project themed patch, and a certification of merit upon completion of their project.

I was at Home Depot a few weeks ago when the free Home Depot clinic for kids was ending and I remember thinking I should pay more attention to these clinics because the kids looked like they were having fun and the projects were actually good quality.

So you can head over to get more information on the free Lowe’s Build and Grow clinics.ย

This little locker would be cute for a child to store their school supplies or it might even make a nice little gift for a teacher to put up in the classroom.

There is also a photo holder clinic available on August 13th that you can check out.

(Thanks Mom on Timeout)

My son has the little apron and at this point has done lots of these – we’ve sewn the little patches on and have all the projects on shelves in his room – it’s actually a pretty neat program – he’s gone off alone w/Dad for most of them. We’re very family-time oriented on the weekend, but some Saturday mornings they head off together for special project time. He’s enjoyed them as young as maybe 2 1/2 years old to now/almost 6. I’d recommend them! ๐Ÿ™‚

Just a note about the lowes one you need to sign up and get there early/on time. If you don’t sign up ahead of time there is no guarantee there will be any kits left. Also if you sign up but are 20 min late they have option of giving your kit away to someone who arrived on time but didn’t sign up in advance. We have noticed that some days have filled up way ahead of time and others haven’t but you never know

My girls have been going to the lowes and home depot kid work shops for a few months now. They go with daddy or gramdma & it’s great for them. I like that they are broadening their horizons beyond babies and princessess. They love going and making their projects. Way to go Lowes and Home Depot!
