I was sooo bummed. I was at Kroger around noon and wanted to get the toothbrushes but they were completely gone!!! UUUGGGHHH So frustrating ๐
My area had the toothbrushes for $1 each and I had a $2 off 2 so it would have been free
Be careful if you use Kroger e-coupons. The cashiers here will hand back your paper coupons if you have an e-coupon, the register takes them off first and won’t allow another to be used on the same item. The paper coupons can be doubled up to .50, which makes them usually worth more than the e-coupons. If you plan to use one that will be doubled to $1.00, you may want to remove an e-coupon (for the same item) for .50. That’s how it works here (WV), is it different in other states? Thanks for the great post!
The eCoupon and paper coupon in KY is the same. You have to scan your card in order for your .50 or less coupon to double — However, if your paper coupon is more than .50 (and wouldn’t double) AND there is an eCoupon for the same item, you can wait to scan your card until after you scan all your coupons. On self-checkout, you just check out normally without scanning the card. After entering the coupons, you click GoBack on the bottom of the screen. Scan your Kroger card. Then click on PayNow. When you hit PayNow, the eCoupons will come off.
Coworker has it down to a science where she saves the doubling coupons until after she does the non-doubling paper coupons and the card scan. Then scans in the remainder. I do separate orders.
