I think this is a nice deal for this camera but keep in mind Cisco is no longer going to market Flip cameras. The warranty will still be honored as usual.
I have two of these cameras myself and I think they are very handy.

I think the advantage to this is simplicity and ease of use. It probably won’t make the best videos ever but if you have serious ADD like I do and give things 10 seconds or less to work, it is perfect 😉
