CVS Shopping Trip

I made a quick trip to CVS yesterday.

Bought 3 Seattle’s Best Lattes $1.49- used (3) free item coupons
2 Johnson and Johnson First Aid kits $.99- used $1.50/2 from 7/31 RP
3 Banana Boat sunscreen $6.99- used (3) $1 coupons
Colgate Wisp on clearance $1.29

Subtotal $28.71. Used $5/25 CVS coupon and $7 in ECBs. I cannot for the life of me figure this receipt out because my total was $2.89+ .84 tax. I got a $10 ECB back for the sunscreen.

I think what happened is that I saved the $5/25 to my card and when I scanned my card the coupon popped out. So I gave the cashier the coupon that printed and I think the electronic coupon also automatically applied crediting me twice.

That was just a mistake- I should have paid $8.50 or so and got a $10 ECB back. ย  So now I know the electronic coupon does work and no need to hand them the printed coupon.

You can see the CVS Deals for the week here.

You found the single cans of Seattle’s Best! I cannot, for the life of me, find them! I have two coupons that expire in a week and haven’t had any luck. I’ve checked Target, my local grocery store (Publix – I’m on the east coast), CVS, Walgreens, and even a gas station. ๐Ÿ™ Did you find them with the refrigerated beverages or were they just on regular shelves?

That must be what happened with my receipt too. The cashier had to manually enter the 5 off 25 because the coupon printed out without a barcode. Makes sense now why it wouldn’t need a barcode.

How and where do you save them to your card?

i got the 5/25 coupon in my email too but it would only let me print it ,don’t know why i can’t send it to my card ,which would’ve been very convenient since i had to turn around and get it because ei forgot it inside my printer.
It gave ma great deal though i bought
    4 revlon nail polish
    2 skinny cow candy
    used 5/25
    3/10 cosmetic product
    1 BOGO skinny cow
    (4) $1/1 revlon coupon
paid with 10ECB from john frieda and $3.13 incl.tax out of pocket and got $12ECB from revlon and $.99 from skinny cow:)
    awesome deal
thank you for your deal idea ๐Ÿ™‚

Wow! Thats nice. Also Im happy to hear you found Seattles best cans there…I didnt think to check CVS for those. I have about 5 of those coupons ready to expire, but been hitting up my local Ralph’s, Vons, Albertsons, but they only have the 4 packs, always out of the single cans! I’m surprised Target doesnt carry them. Will be at CVS today, hope they carry them at mine.
