Love your new print feature!
Charlene says
You like this better than the other one? The other one was easier for me but this one looks nicer.
Lani says
Tried several times to print my list but nothing happens.
Charlene says
Lani, does your list pop up on the right side in a separate box?
Grace says
This is a random question but I was wondering if you could tell me if it is okay to use multiple ECBs in one transaction? like if i was buying $10 worth of items can I use a $2 ECB and an $8 ECB at the same time? Oh, and I was also wondering how you get the $2 Schick cvs coupon. I clicked on the link but I don’t see it. Thanks.
piper says
i think this new thing is cool…like the “x” out what you don’t want to print…etc. it does look good…but if its harder…than i wouldn’t worry about doing it! do whatever is easier! just wanted to comment on the changes to the website! looks sharp!
Charlene says
Yes you can Grace.

Me too… I love the update list feature! Thanks for all the work you do Charlene to help us save $s. I have a question, I got a $10 off a $50 purchase from the coupon machine last week and was thinking of being a bit ambitious with it. Was wondering if I can use it with my list of items towards the gas card? Do you know if they take into account the total of purchases towards gas card before or after the coupons? Hope that made sense…basically I’ve never tried to purchase items towards a gas card either, so I made a list (thanks to your help) and came up with items I actually need totalling $30.47 before coupons, then I also was going to get the schick razor deal (which totals $21.36 before coupons) which combined with the $30.47 gas items purchase would reach the $50 before any coupons apply. So I thought I would apply my $10 off $50 coupon first, but then wondereing if the gas card would still print out? Do you know if they calculate that based on total items prior or after coupons? Has anyone ever tried doing this kind of thing? If it does work, I figured my total oop would be $11.84-$13.48 (also depending if CVS $2 Schick coupon is accepted) but if it does work, I’ll also get $10 ECB and $10 gas card- nice score.
Cheyenne says
The $30 for the gas card is before coupon. Sounds like that is going to be a great deal!

I know the Artificial Nails said that it excludes Glue, but I found a tag right in front of the glue saying it was buy 2 and get $5 ecb. The price was $2.57 each. It rang through nicely and the ECBs DID PRINT!!!
So basically,
Buy 2 Kiss Pro Glue for $2.57 each
Pay $5.14, get $5 ECB
FINAL PRICE $0.07 each!!!

I agree…love the print list feature! I had an amazing trip to cvs this morning. Wanted to give you an update on the Schick deal. My store was out of the $8.49 disposable razors, but they did have Schick quattro disposable razors (4-pack) for $10.49. So I just bought 2 of those and used the B1G1 coupon, the $1 coupon and the $2 cvs coupon so it made it $7.49 with a $10 ECB back. So, that’s an option for some if their store is out of the cheaper ones like mine. Oh, and at the scanner I got a $5/$25 purchase and a $3/$15 baby purchase. The baby one doesn’t expire til the end of August!!
Nat says
Thanks Cheyenne, it was a great deal, but I managed to get a brand new checker who was overly particular & wanted to do everything by the book. I knew I was in for it when she told me that I can’t use three of the $3 coupons for the 3 Herbal Essence products I got! I explained 1/product and she argued with me that I can only use 1/transaction!!! I told her to just go ahead and scan and that the register will beep if it doesn’t accept, after she got over me telling her how to do her job she did, but the 3rd beeped and she handed it back to me without saying anything, so I handed it back and asked her to try it again and it gave me $1.47 value, (people in line behind me were antsy and she was pissy). When it came to the $1 coupon, she adamantly refused to take it saying its a double!! To what? Is beyond me. She also gave me a hard time for the BOGO and $1 off schick coupons and definately wouldn’t let me use the $2 CVS coupon! At that point I offered to get my CVS coupon policy (which I forgot in my car), but insisted that she run it by the manager (who was helping someone else because the line behind me was so long) He corrected her on Bogo & $1 off, but couldn’t get him to come and correct the others, they were the only two at the register, so I just let her finish up before someone behind me lost it. Paid a bit more than expected, closer to $20 oop after taxes but got a $10 ECB and $10 gas card as well as a $1.99 ECB, so still awesome. But never going to that cashier again!
Cheyenne says
Yikes, I hate when that happens. I’m going to try out the gas deal later in the week, maybe. I might break it up into several transactions over several trips just to be sure that I don’t have similar problems with the coupons.
Nat says
Good luck, hope you have better luck and a better cashier than me! I dont think you’d have any problems, the coupons were all fine, (the only one in q? was the $2 CVS one) the cashier was more than difficult. I could have insisted, but didn’t want to be inconsiderate to the peeps in line, I should have picked a quieter time too.
Rosanne says
I bought both the Crest Pro Health Toothpaste and Oral B Satin floss but I only got $2 ECB on one product. Anybody have any idea why? I did it in two separate purchases and used coupons on both.

I tried to do the gas deal listed and totally forgot to double check my ad this week of what is included. I don’t think the twizzlers and the nabisco crackers were included in the gas deal (at least in my area). I f you wanna try this deal, double check your cvs ad first if twizzlers and nabisco crackers are included. Also the Herbal Essence hairsprays that I got were priced at $1.14 in my store. I used 3 $3 coupons, but one of the coupons was adjusted to $1.88. I’m still happy because it was a $4.46 moneymaker! I still have to make more purchase to get my gas deal though.
Charlene says
Angela I got confused on that ad. It didn’t really say clearly exactly which items and it seemed to be everything on page 3 from how I looked at it. Stinkers.
Bridget says
So my CVS would not let me do the HE deal the way you have it — they would only allow me to use the $3 MF Q(buy one HE get $3 off styler) not both the $3Q and the $1 MF off one product when I bought two products. I asked the manager and he said no too. Called corp and they also told me no. They said when you have a MF Q that is either a BIGI or Buy x and get $x off another product that it applies to BOTH items. All the blogs show your scenerio, but per CVS they said this is a no go.
Any thoughts??
Charlene says
Bridget- these are suggested scenarios only. I can’t promise each person that every store and every cashier will allow them to do every transaction listed. If you run into problems I would recommend that you decide if you still want the deal or just move on. This is not a Buy One Get One Free coupon so it can create a little confusion. I don’t read “all the blogs” so I can only speak for the work I have done myself. To me, I don’t get emotionally invested in any particular deal so if it doesn’t work I just move on to the next deal. The problem you are having is over just $1 right? So you can still get your products for about $.98 each? That still seems like a good deal to me.
Bridget says
Charlene, I am NOT emotionally invested in any particular deal much less over $1 dollar!! I am simply trying to figure out how to handle situations like this in the future, b/c I want to be correct in my coupon usage and understand CVS’ coupon policy. I enjoy your blog and other couponing blogs and only follow the ones that correctly use coupons. I just wanted to point out that corp said ‘NO’ to this deal.
Charlene says
Bridget, they do not have a published coupon policy for everyone to see. CVS leaves a considerable amount up to the discretion of the store. If you have a situation where you are told you can not use a coupon, I would suggest just politely asking them to remove the items from your transaction. It is not improper coupon usage to use both the $3 coupon and the $1 coupon. This is the last copy of the policy that I received from CVS:
“In the case where a particular item is on sale for “buy one get one free” (BOGO), you are only allowed to use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. For instance, if Revlon lipstick is on sale for BOGO, you can use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. You would get both items free and pay any applicable tax. We reserve the right to limit quantities after the first purchase. If our store is running a sale for BOGO, you can use two manufacturer’s coupons for a specific dollar amount off. For example, if Revlon lipstick is on sale at our store for BOGO, you can use two $1.00 off Revlon lipstick manufacturer coupons.”
There is a rumor they are changing the BOGO policy but I have not seen the change in print for myself. But again this is an unusual situation since this is not a Buy One Get One Free coupon so it will be up to the discretion of each store. You can call CVS and request that they email you a coupon policy of your own to take with you.
