Reader Chantel let me know yesterday that there is a preorder and a coupon available already for Cars 2! This is available from Amazon so you will also get free shipping.
I don’t see a release date yet but the way a preorder works is that you order at whatever the list price is now. If the price decreases before the ship date- you will be charged the lowest price available. They typically offer these coupons to people that order way in advance and once the release date comes closer they will have pulled the coupons.
If you find that the price is higher from Amazon than it is in stores you can cancel your order at anytime before it ships for a refund. So this can actually work out to be a great deal and if I recall the price on Tangled was actually better for those that preordered.

You should get your movie the day of release and typically as the release date gets closer, Amazon will drop prices to meet the advertised deals from the big retailers like Walmart and Target.

Wow. This is an early pre-order. Car 2 isn’t scheduled for release until November. They don’t even have a specific date yet.
