Can anyone advise what happens to the coupon overage on the KC Masterpiece? Will you get any at all? And if you do, can it be used to buy ANYTHING else or should it be applied to another KC product (like Marinade which is also pictured on the coupon)?

The Safeway coupon policy says the coupon will be adjusted down. This is only .21 though so not a lot to be concerned about. There is a chance the cashier will push it through at the full $1 but the policy is to adjust it down.

The sale is at Nob Hill. Do you know anything about their policy? It will be $.11 overage on each bottle (a $1 coupon on an $.89 item).

Oh I am sorry you are right. The comments come through all at once for me and I got this mixed up with another store. Yes I am aware of the Raley’s coupon policy. You can find the coupon policy to almost every store linked at the top of each and every post. They follow the same guidelines as almost every other store out there which is to adjust the coupon down. You may get the full value or you may not. It will depend on your cashier.

I was at Raley’s today and noticed they have Mt. Olive pickles and relishes on sale for $2.50. There are still a lot of hangtag coupons for 75 cents off, so I bought five jars of sweet gherkins. At checkout, my total transaction was $5.00, which didn’t make sense (should have been $8.75). On the receipt I noticed that in addition to the sale and the 75 cent manufacturer coupons, Raley’s gave me an additional “vendor coupon” on each jar (never heard of that). So I scored pickles (full price $3.79) for a buck a jar. Happy dance!

Ohh.. I wonder if that is the e-coupons. I have to check that out. Good job Elizabeth.

I think the Mt Olive pickles are part of the Ez-pic coupons this month. I’ll check and let you know tomorrow.

Thanks Chalette- I meant EZ Pic 😉 Haven’t posted those in awhile. Did you get my message on Facebook?

I’ve had overages at both Nob Hill and Safeway within the week and both went through.

Karen: When you got the overage at Nob Hill were you able to apply it to anything else in your cart or did you have to buy extra of what the coupon was for to cover it? We have self check out at my store so I am thinking that I would get the overage.
I bought some Hormel Chili at Safeway using a rain check and my coupons gave me overage that went through.
Also, as far as the EZ-pic coupons are concerned, are they automatic or do you have to sign up for them? I would love to pick up some bread and butter pickles if they are part of the deal. BTW, there are also Mt. Olive insert coupons ($.50/1, $.75/1 or $1/1) in the 6/26 SS.

UPDATE: 29 cent relish! I went back to Raley’s today, and yes, the Mt. Olive 16 oz. sweet relish, 16 oz. sweet gherkins and 24 oz. any pickle variety are on sale AND there’s an automatic 75 cent EZ PIC deduction at check out. AND there are still hangtags with a manufacturer’s coupon for an additional 75 cents. (If you can’t find the hangtags, my Safeway has a blinkie spitting out Mt. Olive coupons right now, 75 cents). Here’s the best deal: sweet relish is on sale at Raley’s for $1.79. With the EZ PIC and the mfgr coupon, it works out to 29 cents per jar.

Ha- I took pictures this morning of it I just haven’t had time to post 🙂 It is a great deal!

@ Dancinmama the overages just came off the total bill. They aren’t attached to anything, doesn’t matter what else you buy.

If your Raley’s doesn’t allow overage, take the ad to Walmart and have them price match.
dancinmamasays
Thanks Karen. I’ll be getting the KC Masterpiece and applying the overage to pickles!!

Well, bummer. No overage for me at the self checkout. The coupons beeped due to the overage and the attendant came over and adjusted them down.
There were no hangtags on the pickles either. Luckily I had (3) on the insert Qs from the 6/26 SS.

Question for the pros… with the dryers catalina deal, If I buy over $24 worth, will 2 $4 Cats print out?
TIA
