I mentioned this new Safeway coupon book and a few of you sent in pics- so thank you very much for that! This is a FANTASTIC book if you can get your hands on it. I have not seen it yet but I am on the hunt!
The booklet has three coupons:
- “$1 off any O Organics product. Expires 7/1/2011. Limit 1 coupon per customer. Excludes fluid milk purchases”
- “$1 off any Open Nature product excluding yogurt or deli products. Expires 7/1/2011. Limit one per customer”
- “$1 off Bright Green All Purpose Cleaner. Expires 7/1/2011 limit one per customer”
These are all obviously Safeway store coupons and I know that O Organics coupon in particular was awesome last year. I routinely got the 1lb bag of carrots for free, the cans of beans for free, yogurts, iced tea, and the stuff you can get really cheap is usually broth (in cartons), Mac and Cheese, snacks for kids- check the baby/toddler foods as well as raisins and applesauce, and one of my favorite things to buy are the O Organics herbs that are priced at $1.00-$1.99. I see these in the larger stores in my area in the produce department.
The Open Nature should be a good deal on bread and the sausage is priced at $3.49 when you buy 3. The coupons all have a limit of 1 per transaction so hopefully we see a better sale.

A method to get even further (automatic) discount off the Bright Green: Every time I bring my reusable bag the cashier enters a code and it gives something like 10%-off my next Bright Green purchase (full product line). I wonder if that would stack w/this paper Q
I used the Open Nature coupon on their sausage that had been reduced! I got great sausage normally 3.99 for 0.99!

I bought Open Nature ice cream as part of the .50 off each when you buy 8 deal this week. Made it 2.49 and I used this coupon to get it for 1.49 BUT didn’t remember I had a JFU coupon on my card that came off too.(!!) Grand total = .49
I also found chicken sausage marked 50% and got it for .99. They’re good! and not bad in fat & calories.
We especially like red pepper one.
Does any one else live in Modesto? I can’t find either of the coupon books at Safeway. Was wondering if any one else found them?
Sfwy Cat “$1 off any one O Organics packaged produce item”, x8/8/11. A coupon angel left this Cat near the Blockbuster Express kiosk & I found it there today as I was renting my free movie. So, I don’t know what triggered this organic Cat, but good to know. Good substitute for those who aren’t finding the Good & Well.
