- and a bunch of coupons from Safeway! Actually my neighbor stuck their postcard in my box so I got 2!
Anyone else get something good in the mailbox last week?
Aww, that is so sweet of your neighbor! I’ve started telling DH I think we should move to Roseville… You have me convinced. There are so many great things about it. I’m sure the schools are better too.
Well I live in Rocklin but I think Roseville is more convenient for the good Target and Sprouts so I vote for there.
I am so jealous of the Safeway coupons! I got my razor last week also, and am waiting for my paint and card from Tiny Prints! Looking at your shopping trips, I see the huge value of requesting “free item” coupons. It’s the only way to go when Shopping at Raley’s!! I used to use them just to get the free item, but now I am using them to get the item, plus the great freebies from Raley’s. How awesome is free bread and fruit!?!

I got a lot of those same samples over the past week! I had to stop requesting samples temporarily since we are moving in a few weeks. 🙁 Soon, I can start again though!
Two questions – Have you been able to find those Purina Pro Plan treats? I have looked at Walmart and Target so far and can’t find them. The coupon expires at the end of June, too!
And what do you think the best use is for the $10 Craftsman C3 coupon from Vocalpoint? I didn’t make it to Sears over the weekend to check prices when I was in the “big city.” (I’m 30-60 minutes from any kind of shopping!)
I’d take either city… Lol. Plus they have my FAVE pizza place… Celestino’s. I went to college in Chico and that is where they started. Sometime after I moved to Sac, they opened their Rocklin location and it is right down the street from Sprouts. If you’ve never tried it I highly recommend. I know you aren’t a much of a meet eater… You should try the Olive Special or even just the cheese. They sell it by the slice… Delicious!
Exactly right. Those free item coupons are a goldmine and I hold them as often as I can- Raley’s is a great example of how to really use them effectively. I was stoked to get 3 salads at Sfwy for $9, used $1 produce coupon and 4 of the Latte coupons and paid $6 total. So the Lattes were free plus I got overage for an extra $2 off my salads. Now that is when I get excited about a shopping trip 😀 My Raley’s trip this week was a good one too. $4 for bread, strawberries, juice and whatever else it was I got. 2 bags of stuff I will really use for $4 🙂
The Purina Pro Plan treats are only at pet food specialty stores 🙂

I am jealous of your Safeway coupons too! Especially since I can’t find any of the recent coupon books mentioned! I did get some good stuff in the mail though….the Gillette razor, free coupon for Ore Ida Sweet Potato fries, free coupon for Tostitos/Sun Chips, $10 craftsman gc, Tiny Prints cards, Biolage sample, Tresemme samples, John Frieda root awakening samples, Garnier Fructis samples, and some random coupons from companies I’ve been contacting online. 🙂 Love fun mail!
I don’t have the foggiest idea why they are sending them all the sudden. I suspect it is because there are new grocery stores opening in the area. I did not do anything to have them sent to me.

I got the free Ore-Ida sweet potatoes and a $6.99 rebate check from Snapple from MONTHS ago that I had pretty much considered a wash!! Now I’m hoping for 2 more since I submitted for 3 people 🙂 Oh, also got the Free cup of Yoplait.

@ Rachelle R – Good for you! I got my Downey sample in the mail too this week, but it was just a single use packet. I was able to hit up 2 of the facebook promos, so I actually got 2 separate single use packets (2 different scents), but was really hoping one was going to be the full size because P&G likes to surprise us sometimes like that.
