Coupon Preview 6/5

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

We should see 3 inserts this weekend, you can see the list of coupons for 6/5 here.

Be sure to check your paper and confirm you got the coupons you want before you buy extra copies!

I am excited to see that Seattle’s Best lattes $2 off coupon.  The 4pks were $3.99 at Safeway last week.  The $2 off Nivea Body Wash is a good one too.

If you have any questions about the upcoming coupons for your area- read more here.

You can check out Discounted Newspaper Subscriptions here to see if you can find a deal on home delivery in your area!

Right now Placer County Herald and Lincoln Messenger are $13 a year (Thursday delivery). Don’t know how long this deal will last. They said they can mail them as well. Didn’t ask how much more that would cost if anything at all.

Shelly, I get the Lincoln Messenger, but they quit including coupons. Does the Placer Herald have coupons?

Yeah Nicole, it has the prior week SS and the coming week’s RP and P&G usually. So it is kind of weird but I love getting the coupons before they are in the Sunday paper. You can get deals before the shelves are empty 🙂 I would make sure you ask the lady if you will get coupons in yours just to be sure. The Herald I get does have them.

    Perfect Charlene, thank you.

Does anyone in Sacramento know if only the Sac Bee and the major newspapers are the ones with coupons? I’m trying to find a good deal on a weekend or Sunday subscription.

Sylvia, this is the code most of us have had good luck with for discounted Sacramento Bee subscriptions:

If you need a subscription to the Sacramento Bee- use promo code Marketing/1DaySun/SunHalf to get a year of Sunday papers for $19.99! That is .38 an issue! I had 2 subscriptions with this code- so you can order more than one.

Thanks, Charlene but I actually already have 2 subscriptions to the Bee. The first one was from before I started couponing (just because I love to read the paper); the second subscription is the Groupon deal. I was wondering though if I could get a better deal on another paper. That way, I could enjoy reading 2 different papers on Sunday in addition to cutting coupons 🙂

Oh I gotcha. I can’t think of any unless you can get one of the Bay Area papers delivered? If you manage that I’d love to hear because the Bay gets the coupon inserts and ads on Saturday 🙁 I would love to get the Target ad in particular early but I don’t think any of them with delivery here.

Charlene, thanks so much for the promo code for the Sac Bee! I was hemming and hawing about whether or not to purchase a newspaper subscription and that great price convinced me to!

Rose, if you live in Placer County the Herald is a little cheaper. Shelly posted that above and it comes Thursdays with coupon inserts. I have found they are not always as good as the Sac Bee but either way a great deal.

Thanks for the info! I live south of sac in San Joaquin county. My husband works in Sac and his co-workers regularly give him their inserts. I’ll let him know that the Herald gets the inserts on Thursdays, a few of his co-workers might get it and wont mind checking for us. 🙂

Just curious – where would you use the Marketing/1DaySun/SunHalf code for a SacBee subscription? At the discounted newspapers site or at the SacBee site? I don’t see a promo code area at the discounted newspaper site… What am I missing? Thanks so much! – Erin

Erin you need to call them. If you have problems ask for a supervisor and see what happens. It is an old code so they may refuse it.

I just ordered 5 subscriptions a few weeks ago to the Sac Bee at the $19.99 per year price. The lady I talked to, said she sells them at that rate all the time. It’s way better than trying to find extra copies at the dollar stores.

I noticed that the P&G insert coupons have exp of 7-31-11. Does that mean we won’t see a July P&G? I’m wondering if I should pick up extra copies to cover 2 months worth of couponing.

  16. Charlene says

    06/05/2011 at 8:34 PM

Rachel- it seems like they have had 60 day expiration dates lately. I think the 5/1 ones expire 6/30 too?

The 5/1 P&G coupons expired 5/31. I haven’t seen a 60 day exp date on the P&G’s before but you know I’ve only been couponing 5 months.

Ok so I knew I wasn’t crazy. The 5/1 P&G coupons go through 6/30. I knew from the matchups a bunch of them seem to last for ages. Maybe some expired in 30 and some are 60. Here is the one I am looking at right now:

    $1/1 Luvs Diapers, exp. 6-30 (P&G 05/01/11)
