Whole Foods: Free Coconut Milk

It looks like many Whole Foods stores have the So Delicious coconut milk for $2.00 again this week.  It is the 32oz shelf stabilized variety not the refrigerated kind.

There is a $1/1 printable coupon available AND the new Whole Deal coupon books are available with a $1 off So Delicious coupon.

The Whole Deal booklets are available for free in store or you can print the coupons to take with you (note: when I print them they always seem to beep.)

Some stores will allow you to stack the store coupon and manufacturer coupon- which would make these free!

I have personally never had a problem stacking coupons but I usually get a few complaints each time I post a Whole Foods deal from readers that are not allowed to stack.  You can always call ahead to your store and ask or just pay $1.00 per carton after coupon.

I like to have these on hand for the occasions when we run out of milk- my toddlers both like coconut milk or reader Megan says this is also good for baking or in smoothies!

Thanks Organic Deals!

PS:  You can call your Whole Foods and ask for a price check before you head out.  Each store is a little different so they may not have the same pricing.

We use coconut milk as a dairy free substitute due to my son’s food allergies. It works great in pudding.

Just a FYI for the readers (not a complaint :-D)- Fresno, CA Whole Foods does not allow stacking of the above coupon. Love your website! Thank you!

I’ve read on several sites that it’s up to each Whole Foods as to whether they allow coupon stacking and that you should call ahead to check.

Devon, I think that is what I said… If it isn’t it is what I meant to say 🙂

The SO Delicious Coconut Milk wasn’t $2, it was $3.99 at my whole foods.

The good news is that I can use both coupons!

Is there an ad online or in the store?

Hey AJ that seems really high.. You were looking at the shelf stable kind that is 32 oz right? Not the chilled kind?

No, it was the 64 oz. I double checked

I was thinking about doing a price check, then I thought do I really need to buy it?

I posted the same comment on another coupon blog and someone else got the same price. So I wasn’t the only one?

    Must be regional pricing then.

No, no. The one on sale is not the chilled one that is 64oz. The one on sale is the 32oz that is shelf stable. It is usually located with the soups. This is what you are looking for:

This is the one you found and it is NOT on sale:

    Sorry Charlene for the misunderstanding.

What is self stable? and why is the 32oz in a different section?

No wonder I didn’t see that size.

Why didn’t you put that in your post?

I checked the other coupon blog and they didn’t mention the size either.

Well I did put it in my post 🙂 Here is what I said right at the top:

” It is the 32oz shelf stabilized variety not the refrigerated kind.”

Shelf stable means it is not chilled so you can store it in the pantry. It is a smaller carton. This is the last time I bought it so you can see exactly:

It is very creamy but I like to have it on hand for any trips or also on those occasions I run out of milk. The girls drink it and once you open it, it does need to be put in the fridge.

    My mistake, you’re right.

I skimmed through the post and didn’t see it.

Can I make milkshakes with it?

I think so. I just give it to the monkeys myself but another reader was telling me she uses it for smoothies and for baking. It is free fairly regularly at Whole Foods (if you can stack) so worth trying once and then you know 🙂
