You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!

    It looks like the Buy 8 promotion is on 8 or more, so you don’t have to split transactions!

    My ad is showing Activia 4-packs at $1.49 after the discount. My doctor’s office had $1.00 off coupons for them.

    My ad is also advertising that if you spend $75 or more in a single trip Friday-Monday, you get a $10 OYNO.

    Raspberries are showing a 5.6 oz container. Watermelons are B1G1 (is $2.50 for a watermelon a good price?).

    Raspberries–I was also searching the ad for a size & it’s not listed. Normally, though, the size runs around 5-8ounces for Driscoll Raspberries. I guess the best day to shop Sfwy would be Friday, if I want to get the blueberries & ground turkey. Meanwhile, I’m going to check my J4U for possible deals using the Buy 8 promo.

    In my Just 4 U account I have a $2 off beggin strips. In my add, the strips are listed for $2.50 and are part of the buy 8 promotion. That would make them 50 cents. I also found a buy one get one free coupon in the 5/8 SS. I am not sure I can use both, but if I can, then I would get both for 50 cents.

    I’m not too impressed with the adds this week. Nugget Market has some great deals this week. I think I’ll spend my shopping time there. 🙂

    there’s also supposed to be $1/2 Activia in upcoming inserts (red plum)

    Has anyone tried the .50 off WYB 8 deal with your Just4U personalized prices? Is the .50 coming off of your price or the sale price?

    Justine, I tried the Buy8 with my J4U Personalized Prices. I had one win (SoBe beverages) & one loss (Cinnamon Toast Crunch). Here’s my success story:
    Everybody pays 0.77 wyb 8 SoBe beverages, but my Personal Price: 0.95
    So my receipt says this:
    SoBe
    Reg Price….$1.79
    Card Savings…(-$1.02)
    J4U Personalized..(-0.32)
    Final $0.45
    So instead of paying 0.77 each, I paid 0.45 each thx to Pers Prices.

    Here’s my strike-out within same transaction:
    Everybody pays $2.49 wyb 8 Cinnamon Tst Crunch, my Pers: $2.19
    Receipt says:
    Cinn Tst Crnch
    Reg Price…$4.69
    Card Savings…(-2.20)
    J4U Mfc eCpn…(-.55)
    Final $1.99
    So my Pers Price did NOT activate, but my eQ did. Was expecting to pay $2.19 – .50 (for Buy8) – .55 eQ — which should’ve occured because my Personalized Price is cheaper than the sale price.

    I’m okay with my transaction. I saved 75%.

    By the way, the $5 Blueberries are not Driscolls at my East Bay Sfwy, so i only used the $1/5 Produce store Q. Our Blueberries are Hurst’s.

    Those ones on eBay are the ones I saw in my doctor’s office. Makes me kinda pissed at the guys on eBay. I know I’ll use all the coupons I have! We eat yogurt like ice cream around here!

    My ad here in PA had Sunsweet D’Noir prunes on sale BOGO ( regularly 3.49 each) I had .75/1 coupons. My store fully doubles and I could use a coupon on the free one so I need up with 2 packs for .49 total! Even without doubling this would be a pretty good deal!

    In my personalized deals I have a free box of Frosted Flakes with a $10 purchase. Well it was in my account last week and I used it. It says limit 1 and ends this next week. Does this mean limit 1 per time shopping or limit 1 all together? I’m confused cause I thought it would have came off since I already did it one time!? anyone know? 🙂

    Mo, are you viewing your Free Frosted Flakes in the “Print/email my Shopping List” (the red button)? What I’ve experienced is my Free item J4u Q’s and Pers Deals will still appear on the first page, causing me to think they’re still live BUT when I hit the red button for “Print/email my list” the Q or deal is not on that list. So then I know my Q or deal is actually dead.

    Got a Free package of Organic O Carrots, 1-Lb today at Sfwy. Priced at $0.99 – $1 Off Any O Organics product store Q from pamphlet called “Well & Good”, x7/1/11. Pamplet was in the instore pharmacy.

    Two other store Qs in this pamphlet. They are $1 Off Any Open Nature product excluding yogurt or deli products, x7/1/11 and $1 Off Bright Green All Purpose Cleaner, x7/1/11.

    Also, got a package of Simply Potatoes Hash Browns for $0.95. Priced at $1.50 – $0.55 MQ from “June Dairy” booklet found right there near the cold case or in frozen foods aisle. They also had the Simply Potatoes Diced Potato for the same price (note: on the back of that diced potato pkg is a recipe for Potato Soup!)
