Free Reach Toothbrushes at Safeway Stores

I don’t think this is worth a special trip to Safeway but I wanted to mention this in case you are already going to stop by.

I found Reach toothbrushes on clearance at my store for $1.87- including the little 2pks of kids brushes.  They had adult varieties for $2.24 on clearance.  It looks like the regular price is $2.99.

If you have the following coupons, these work out to a fantastic deal:

$2/2 Reach Toothbrush or $2/1 multipack, exp. 8-8-11 (SS 05/08/11)
$2.50/2 Select Listerine or Reach Products, exp. 12-31 (SS 04/17/11)
$1/1 Select Listerine or Reach Products, exp. 12-31-11 (SS 04/17/11)
$1/1 Listerine Kids or Reach Kids Product printable
$3/3 Select Listerine or Reach Items, exp. 12-31-11 (SS 01/09/11 #2)

Plus the catalina offer for these is running again through 6/12:

Buy 2 and get $1
Buy 3 and get $2
Buy 4 or more and get $4

So here would be the best case scenario:

Buy 4 of the kids 2pks at $1.87
Use (4) $2/1 Reach multipack coupons
Pay 0 and get back a $4 catalina

If you can’t find those multipacks, you should still be able to get a great deal.  Again, I found these on clearance at my store so no guarantees you will find the same price.

This catalina should be available in all Safeway stores but you can always enter your zip code here and just double check it is available at your store.

I just ran into Safeway on my way to the airport and I bought 4 and my cat did print.

One other totally random item I noticed on clearance and wanted to mention.   My store had Kikkoman Soy Milk cartons (the shelf stable kind usually located in the coffee aisle) on clearance for $1.29.  If you drink soy milk, you might have a look and see if you spot this.  I am sure it is not a product sold in many stores but if you find it, there is a $1/1 Kikkoman coupon or here that would make these just .29 a carton.

Have a great trip!! I just wanted to mention that I was at my Safeway in Everett, WA, this morning and found the same prices on the toothbrushes. I bought some and the catalina also printed.

On a totally random note, I went to Pavilions today (Safeway) and my receipt looks totally different now. It is much easier to read and understand if/where your coupons are coming off. I’m hoping it is like that for everyone, the older receipts I thought were hard to understand and made it difficult to see if your coupons came off.

I just did this deal. Thanks for the heads up. I just donated most of my kid toothbrushes. I think I will go back and repeat.

    4 kids toothbrushes (1 double pack) @ $1.87 = $7.48
1 box of kleenex (.79 with coupon)
    $8.27 + .72 tax – $5.00 in Reach coupons = $3.99
    And I got a $4.00 cat!

I was so excited to find the toothbrushes, but was patroled by the cashier who refused my coupons…which brings me to my question. Is “one per purchase” referring to item or transaction?!

Nicole, it means per item not per transaction. So 4 coupons and 4 items should be fine.

@Nicole, i had same problem before, just ask for manager, usually they have more knowledge than cashiers, today i got 4 of the crystal tothbrushes on sale at .99 and one dove chocolate .39 used 4 $1 off on any reach ,then, the cashier start refusing before scanning the coupons because the price was less than the coupon, well , i told the cashier why you dont just scan the coupons and if they don’t work i won’t get anything. I ended paying .35 for everything and got 4 cat =), register didn’t beep even.
