CVS is offering a $10 ECB if you purchase selected products. Among them is Banana Boat, on sale for $6.99. There is a $1/1 Man Q in this Sunday’s SS. There is also a CVS Q on their website (go to cvs-dot-com, click on “in-store coupons” in the upper right corner of the screen).

I was able to use 4 CVS Q’s, 4 man Q’s, and get the ECB back, for a final tally of $2.49 each!

Also – CVS mailed a set of coupons out several weeks ago. There was a CVS Q for $2 off, which can be paired with a man Q for $4/2. Purchase 2 100-count Advil at $7.99 each, use both coupons, receive $5 back, makes it $2.49 each!

    $10 gas card deal:
    Pepsi Insert Qs expire 5/21
wish I would have seen this and shopped Sat. night after ad turns on

there were Transformer bandaids clearance .89 last week. Think they’ll work for the $1ECB?

I cannot find Biore deal in my ad (norcal-Bay Area). Hope I’m just blind because I want to do this. Have found $1Qs in all the strip pkgs I’ve gotten

I printed the cvs banana boat coupons and they read that banana boat wil reimburse the retailer, so aren’t they really mfg coupons?

I don’t get the Sunday paper anymore. Is the Purex deal a sale item or is that their normal price? Thanks.

The revlon coupon is for Color Cosmetic, are the nail polish considered that?

    You have this deal:
Spend $10 on Ragu, Bertolli, Lipton, Skippy or Hellamns and get $5 ECB (limit 1)
    It’s actually only $3 ECB.

  8. Erin says

in-store printer gave me a $1/1 for Trident. So that made my pack of gum a money-maker! 🙂

the 2.00 off revlon will not be accepted by the cash register…..

  10. Charlene says

Naomi- the Revlon coupons has always been fine for polish in the past. In fact, they have actually pictured the polish right on the coupon. I didn’t get this coupon to see what is pictured but I looked on Ebay and you should be OK. I would try to pick a cashier that appears to have some sense and not one that is going to be nasty to you.

@Amy- as I said I don’t have this specific coupon to test this out but in the past (and I have posted these polish deals more times than I can count)- they have always been fine.

Does anyone know when CVS weekly sales started to end on Friday instead of Saturday. Is this a regional thing (I’m in Austin, TX). The flyer that was in my paper today shows the sale dates as 05/22 – 05/27.

  12. JE says

    05/22/2011 at 2:40 PM

I tried to use the Revlon color cosmetic coupon last week to purchase nail polish and it didn’t scan. The manager wouldn’t allow it to be manually entered in because she said nail polish wasn’t covered. I was shocked because it says “ANY color cosmetic product.” If nail polish isn’t considered a colored cosmetic product, what is? The picture they show is of concealer and foundation or powder and neither seem to be “color” products. Anyway, I’m going back today to try to use it. Hopefully the cashier will have more sense than the manager did.

  13. Amy B. says

    05/22/2011 at 3:21 PM

I had a very coupon friendly cashier…as she does the coupon things too…she said people were trying them all day…and it wouldnt let it. We even traded some coupons during my transactions and let her get one of the 1.00 off coupons from the ss 4/10

  14. Anna says

    05/22/2011 at 3:36 PM

I get the San Francisco Chronicle, The Sacramento Bee, and The Record. Did the Revlon coupon not come in any of them? I can’t seem to find it anywhere!

  15. Charlene says

    05/22/2011 at 4:02 PM

Sorry Anna- I can only post coupons that are available. I don’t ever have any idea exactly which areas will get which one. If you have 3 papers and it wasn’t in there than it is probably safe to assume it was available to other regions and not yours.

  16. michelle says

    05/22/2011 at 5:01 PM

My CVS would not let me use the $2 Revlon coupon on the nail polish (I even took in a Target coupon of the same that showed the nail polish listed as a Cosmetic) but it would not ring up,I think it is still a decent deal.

I Do not see it listed here or on any other blog I visit but I thought the Arm and Hammer Total care softner sheets at b1g1 free ($4.39 each)was a pretty good deal with the $3/2 which for me brought it down to $1.39 for both or .69 cents Each.

  17. michelle says

    05/22/2011 at 5:09 PM

Also if you happen to purchase the Revlon Nail polish in one transaction by itself it prints out your ECB’s and also a coupon for 30% off your next transaction which is handy since it knocked my next transaction down $9.

  18. JE says

    05/22/2011 at 5:27 PM

Just got back from CVS…again, the $2 Revlon color cosmetic coupon would not come off automatically, but I had a reasonable cashier who agreed that nail polish is a color cosmetic product and she manually entered the coupon 🙂

  19. Charlene says

    05/22/2011 at 6:03 PM

Michelle- that is a fantastic deal!

  20. Amy B. says

    05/23/2011 at 3:05 AM

FYI…I tried to do the Irish Spring bodywash deal with 2 of the coupons…they say “one per customer”, so the cashier gave me an extra coupon she had 🙂

Spotted in East Bay, Gummi for $0.99 (Coke bottle flavor & raspberry flavor). There was a $0.30 printable M Q some time ago, making it $0.69. I inquired about the lingering Easter stuff on shelf marked w/a 50%-off sign. The associate said that corporate wasn’t allowing further reductions, but that if I so desired, I could buy certain Easter candies for 90% off. The associate said they just can’t put up a sign saying that. So, secret sale? Weird.

  24. Endcapps says

    05/23/2011 at 6:09 PM

Yesterday’s San Fran Chronicle had $0.50/1 Ragu, so I’m planning to do the spend $10 get $3 ecb:
    1–Best Food’s Mayo…$3.00 – $1 MQ printable* = $2.00
    5–Ragu…$1.66 – $0.50 MQ = $1.16 ea
    Total before coupons $11.30
Total OOP $8.80 & get back $3 ecb, about $0.97 for each item
*I bought the Mayo yesterday b/the coupon was expiring.
(I wonder if the $3 ecb would print if I only bought $9.64 worth, ie, only 1 mayo and 4 Ragu?)

First timer here. I saved 2 weeks of coupons from 2 local papers. I made 4 purchases at CVS this week so far.
Purchase 1: used 2 B1G1 on 4 sauve body wash, used 2 $.50/1 on 2 suave deodrant. A pack of trident gum. Somehow $1 off for something I think for signing up for a card(i really don’t know). Payed around $5.00 got back $3.99 ECB.
Purchase 2: 6 ragus Used 2 of the $1.50/3. Then used $3.99 ECB.
Payed around $3 and got back $3 in ECB.
Purchase 3: Advil and Thermacare I don’t know if its right but they let me use the clip out coupon $4off buying the combo clipout. $1 off advil clipout. The online $5 off the combo(from website) and the online $3 off thermacare(from website). Bought some other things to make the total over my $3 ECB. Payed almost nothing. Got back $5 ECB.
Purchase 4: same as 3, but bought some other things to make the total over my $5 ECB. Payed almost nothing. Got back $5 ECB.

Saving the $5ECB for next week. So less than $10 cash out of pocket. And still holding a $5 ECB, 4-bodywash, 2 deodorant, 6 sauce, 1 gum, 2 thermacares, 2 advils, and about $5.00 of other misc merchandise.

  26. Joan says

    05/24/2011 at 5:31 PM

Josh, what website are you referring to for the advil and the thermacare, I don’t see anything on the CVS website.

  27. Josh says

    05/25/2011 at 3:37 AM

    https://thermacare.wyethcoupons.com/pages/1
    https://combo.wyethcoupons.com/pages/219
The other advil and thermacare coupons were out of SS and RP from the last 2 sundays. I don’t know which. I handed them to the clerk in this order $5 off , $4 off, $3 off, or $1off. The clerk said I had 2 items so only 2 coupons unless they were store coupons. I responded by asking her if the computer would tell her if I could use when she scanned it? She said it would, so I had her scan the last 2 and they applied. Went to the same clerk the 2nd time.
