Amazon does offer free songs to download each day. I actually got one a few days ago– so there is a chance the free songs will trigger this email. You can get the free MP3 song for today here and see what happens.

You can either cancel at any time during that 6 month period for no further obligations (go into your account and click cancel auto renewal)- OR keep it and they will send you emails alerting you to the price and such before your renewal.
