Are these this week only–like ending tomorrow? I won’t get to Target ’til Sunday. What are the odds the Zyrtec deal would still be available?

Is the Purex coupon gone from Target’s site?!?!?

No Jennifer- did you check under household?

The Soft Scrub Total isn’t on sale anymore at my Target – it scanned at $3.49 yesterday in WA.

I can’t find the kool-aid coupon either. Are they out of them?

Rachel- I checked yesterday and it was still 2/4.98 for me. It seems like they are changing prices on the cleaning products right now so they may be going up slowly.

Yes, it’s not there, but if I’ve printed 2 before, could that be why? I’ll have my sister check for me. Thanks!

Another great deal at Target is the Orbit Tropical Remix gum if you have the B1G1 free printable (nla) & Target .75/1 Orbit coupon. They are priced at .99 regularly, so I paid .24 for 2 packs yesterday. Not sure if I could’ve used 2 Target coupons to make them free, but my Target stores seem a bit challenged with adjusting the price down on items. 🙂

Sorry, I meant adjusting the coupons down.

My Target cashier caused a big fiasco over the Band-Aid coupon. I bought 4 (priced at 1.17 each in my area) and the coupon was scanning as if it were merchandise….? So the cashier kept adding $1.17 onto my bill when it asked to enter the amount… :/ Manager came over and got it to scan but then it took off $4 (each coupon) instead of $2… she said they couldn’t allow me to use it. I said that they can adjust it and they would get the $2 value for it…. by the end she finally adjusted it so it worked out in the end. Just a heads up that the coupon may be a bit tricky to use!

Wow were you right Whitney! I tried the bandaids tonight and after being told it wasn’t a bandaid coupon, the cashier tried to scan it and it added $2/per coupon instead of subtracting. Then she called over the security guard and another cashier who found spelling errors and insinuated that I made the coupon up at home. The security guard told me that it was highly suspicious! Wow! I have to say that I lost it! When the supervisor finally got to me she ended up giving them to me for 1.00/4. Not sure why. Also I pointed out that the cashier had forgotten to ring up one of my milks. She told me not to worry about it. So confused! Not happy with the way that my target handled the situation tonight! But I did get Tangled! Thanks for that deal!! Now to buy Success Rice with my coupon to get that rebate!

Charlene, I was wondering what target you shop at – I use the Rocklin store on Fairway and they wouldn’t let me me use the $1.00 of degree or dove on the travel size items – I argued that the coupon did not have a size limit but I was still turned down.

  15. Charlene says

    04/02/2011 at 10:51 PM

Well I shop there mostly but personally I don’t bother with travel size items. I did get the travel size Shout wipes the other day but I choose cashiers carefully 😉 The reason I don’t bother with travel items is because it is simply too much trouble for me. The cool thing to do when I started couponing was travel size body washes that were always free with coupon. Well I would fight for those stupid things each and every trip and it was almost every single time a massive hassle and then I realized it just wasn’t worth the stress. Plus one day I had something like 30 of those things and it was so much space and always empty ones in the shower and just seemed incredibly wasteful. To be frank I wouldn’t even post them on MFA at all just because of the drama involved in getting those things but people seem to love free travel items so I sort of cave to what readers want 🙂 Soo anyhoo. I guess if you need them for something or have your heart set just try to pick a friendlier looking cashier next time and I probably wouldn’t buy just those and expect to pay 0 and leave the store. Fly under the radar is my motto! If you do want travel items it just doesn’t feel right to most people so I think you will need to prepare yourself for battle at any store you shop at.

Thanks Charlene! I dont usually either but I thought they would be good to have since we do tavel. I did have several items, but she laid out all my coupons very carefully! I got 2 zyrtec, the purex crystals, and 2 trident layer gum – my grand total was 38 cents! However, she denied me the two travel items and also the softsoap cleaner – she said the one I grabbed which was the only one marked two for $4.98 was not the one that was in the Target coupon. The target coupons was for softsoap with bleach. So, since I didnt really need cleaner anyway but was just getting it because it was free I didn’t argue with her! She was a young girl and I tend to have good luck with the young cashiers as they tend to just push the coupons thru but not this one! Maybe I will try a young man next time LOL

    Zyrtec 5-ct Update for 4/3/11 ~
I called for a price check at Super Target Walnut Creek & it’s $5.89. I called a regular Target Pleasant Hill & it’s out-of-stock, but the shelf tag reads $5.25.

If you need Zyrtec manufacturer’s coupons, I discovered another source… If you’re in CVS or Riteaid, look for green & white coupon booklets titled “My Allergy Guide, Savings Inside!” from the makers of Zyrtec. Enclosed in the booklet are the following MQ’s:
$3 off any adult Zyrtec product, x6/30/12 (!)
$1 off any adult Benadryl product, ”
    $1 off any children’s Benadryl product, ”
$1 on any Benadryl Topical product, ”
The booklets were sitting in cardboard freestanding displays alongside the bottles of Zyrtec in both my CVS and Riteaid.

I am not sure if the $3 Zyrtec MQ in the booklet would work with the deal at Target. Someone want to be the guinea pig?

I went to get the motrin deal and the coupon wouldn’t scan so the cashier called someone over and she insisted it had to be a larger motrin bottle to be able to use the coup… I got my coups back and didn’t buy the motrin. I think I am going to try again at another target and see if I have better luck. Did anyone else run into problems? For some reason I have more problems at Target than other stores. Thanks to your help I was able to get the purex crystals and the soft scrub for free so thank you so much for all you do!!
