Reminder: Free Tote Bag at Target 4/17

Just a reminder that Target will be giving out free tote bags with purchase on Sunday 17th.  This is an annual Earth Day promotion and this is while supplies last.

I went last year around 10am to my store and they had tons of bags available. Hopefully this year is the same.

Is there a minimum you have to buy to get a free tote bag?

Is this at every Target or just the one near you? I went on Target’s web site and couldn’t find anything on it about the bags. Thanks!

Jane, I typically don’t post things that are not available nationwide. If it was only at one store I would have made a point of that in the post- this is a nationwide offer and will probably be mentioned in tomorrow’s ad. Here is the information:

    AJ- no minimum required.

just so yu know Taret is not giving away as many bags this year compared to last year… so I would get there earily… I work at Target and last year we got 1000 to give out last year and only 200 this year

I went to Target around noon and had no problem. Many people were turning them down. In my store, when accepted the bag, they gave you a small square of paper that they had made up that read, “Please be aware of the potential for color transfer with the use of this bag.” With that, many people were leaving them behind. Why would you give away something that could potentially transfer the red color to something else…………clothing, car seat, etc. and cause damage. This was a bad promotion!! Was any other store giving out this warning?

Oh well I don’t feel so bad Louise 🙂 usually I go to Zumba at 8am and to Target right after but this morning I slept in. The color red gives me a headache so I skipped the bags and now I am glad I did. You are right- that is silly and considering your back and armpit would most like be red from the bag rubbing- well that would be awful. I bet I would go a whole day and never notice I had a red armpit.
