Recyclebank: New Rewards for April!

It is a new month at Recyclebank and they have new coupons available as well as new ways to earn points.

As many of you know I have self- diagnosed Mommy ADD so my attention span is pretty low for most things but I do find this program to be worth the trouble.  I have recieved fantastic coupons from them- like the $2 off Kashi Coupons last month, coupons for Free Happy Baby products, Free McLatte’s at McDonalds, $10 off $50 at my grocery store…  Great coupons!

So you have to earn points and then you cash those in for coupons- it is pretty painless to earn the points though.

Right now you can play the “Learn and Earn” game to get 25 points (this literally took about 2 minutes for me).

You can also do the Green Your Home challenge and earn another 70 points.

Once you collect points you can cash them in for coupons- some coupons are printable (so you get 2!) and some are mailed to you.  They seem to come in less than 2 weeks for me.

Here are a few good ones I see:

Under Daily Deals look for the $1 off Back to Nature Cookies or Crackers coupon for 10 points.  Those are organic and about $3.00 at Whole Foods.

Under Food and Drink get $2 off Naked Juice for 30 points, $1 off Honest Tea for 60 points, $2 off 2 Earthbound Farm items for 50 points, Buy One Get One Free Wonderful Pistachios or Coke items for 100 points.

Under restaurant look for Buy One Get One Papa Murphy’s pizza, Free McCafe Latte or Oatmeal  for 100 points… and lots more.

So might as well grab those 25 points and get rolling on this program!  Head over to Recyclebank to get started and you can also recommend the program to friends to get more points.

I do like Recycle Bank, and it doesn’t take much time at all. I got on board just recently with it. Last month, I cashed in for 2 Yoplait coupons ($1/6 – mailed) and 3 Kashi ($2/1) coupons.

I received the Yoplait coupons but was only able to print 1 of the Kashi coupons. After attempting to have them fix the problem for weeks on end, they finally just told me that I couldn’t have them anymore since that deal is “dead” now. They did refund my points, but needless to say, I am not pleased about it! Those coupons make for 1.28 Kashi cereal at Walmart.

I’ll keep at it though – they do offer good coupons nearly every month. I hate to say anything negative about companies, but do be careful when ordering multiples of printable coupons from Recycle Bank. I’d recommend ordering them individually!

I’ve had a positive experience with Recyclebank so far. Which zip code do you see the BOGO Papa Murphy’s? Maybe it’s not available in my area. Great coupon!

When I did the home challenge I was able to earn 70 points. You can currently explore the kitchen and when you click on all the + symbols there will be a different amount of points under them that total up to 70! Looks like each week a new room will unlock and give more points. I have loved the coupons I have been able to earn.

I also had an issue when i ordered multiple Kashi coupons last month & lost 1 of my prints (somehow?). I overall really like RecycleBank, though. I only signed up last month & have already gotten a couple of Kashi coupons (for cheap cereal), a free McDonald’s latte coupon, & a Earthbound organic coupon. The current $2/2 Earthbound organic coupon will work great with next week’s sale at Meijer for free baby carrots. Overall, a great coupon source that requires very little work & time for high value coupons.

I just wanted to quickly add for those that do not have a Whole Foods that Wal-Mart carries the Back to Nature cookies. I looked at mine today and they were $2.98 each. They had the Chocolate Chunk as well as a vanilla wafer and ginger cookie. I don’t see the wafer or ginger listed on their site, but my WM in Lewisville, TX carries them.
