Update: It appears a web site decided to make an illegal copy of this coupon that allowed people to print as many copies as they wanted. As a result, Petsmart has decided to pull the coupon. If you did legitimately print your coupon out of your own account this morning I would recommend calling in advance and confirming your store will allow you to use it.
Now here is something fantastic! If you are registered for the free Petsmart Pet perks program, you will want to log into your account and check under Petsmart coupons.
You should see that gorgeous red ball that you can click and get a $5 off coupon for Petsmart products!
I just printed it and it says “Save $5 on any Petsmart product in store only… valid through 5/1 with coupon and PetSmart card. Limit one per transaction…not valid with any other discount or offer.”
I have no idea what that means really- if the coupon is valid on anything you want or just PetSmart store brand products… No matter what this is a fantastic coupon and I would grab it right away. There is no purchase requirement indicated!
I will be next to Petsmart tomorrow so I will stop in and I’ll let you know what I find.
If you have never registered for the free petperks program, you might try registering and see if you get lucky!

Awesome Charlene! Thanks for posting. I just went to print mine and it says on the petperks coupon page you are allowed 2 prints per coupon. Do you think we can use 2 of these? I know it has our name on it and account # I think, I guess I will just ask at Petsmart when I go.

I think they might of removed the coupon. There are no $5 off any Petsmart purchase under the Petsmart Coupons section anymore.

I logged into my account and went to the petsmart coupons page but didn’t see it there. Anyone else not get it?
I did not have it either. Does anyone have any ideas why some people are getting it and others aren’t? I do shop at Petsmart often, so I don’t understand…

I think might just be gone. I checked my account just now and the coupon is no longer listed. They may have simply reached the max coupons already.
Charlene – the coupon says something about a Petsmart item…did it have to be a Petsmart branded item or anything in the store? (ie: could I use it on Milk Bones?)
D thats what I was wondering too but I bought something else. Not Kong but some name brand toy (half chewed up already thank you). I looked and didn’t even see any Petsmart brand products so I think it should be OK on anything.

I can’t believe it’s gone already. I posted it yesterday before anyone else and it’s not there today! I’m going to keep looking tho and I’m hoping it will come back. It was only up for a day.
I was having trouble printing the coupon and I emailed PetSmart, and they said the coupon was posted fraudulently. Strange. Here is their email:

website fraudulently and had to be removed. We will not be able to

I did some investigation and found out that someone on a deals site made an illegal pdf of the coupon so you could print all you wanted. That is why they have pulled the coupon and not accepting anymore although some others have used their coupon today and they are accepting them. Good luck.
Morgan- I think what Carol said is true 🙁 Someone made a pdf of the coupon which is just pure greed and shameful.
Thanks Carol and Charlene. I was confused and not sure what the email they sent me had meant. Too bad some people had to ruin it for the rest of us. That coupon would have been a nice one to have. I really wish people wouldn’t do stuff like that because it seems like eventually stores would just have to do away with good deals like this if some people take unfair advantage of them 🙁
FYI…for those of you who have the ap “KeyRIng”, I noticed that the $5 coupon is on there if you have your PetPerks linked to it. I have not tried it but will today.
