CVS: Cap’n Crunch Cereal .33-.49

04/28/2011

Share

I noticed that CVS has small boxes of Cap’n Crunch cereal priced at $.83-.99 a box this week.
You can use the $1/2 Cap’n Crunch coupon from 4/17 RP
Final Price: $.33-.49 each

The Cap’n Crunch was not specifically featured in the weekly ad so your store might not carry this product but if you are already planning a trip you might have a look.

The ads for West Coast states (CA, NV and AZ) have items priced at $12/10 this week:

The ads for the rest of the country have the same items priced at $.99 each:

So if you live on the West Coast, your final price would be $.33 and if you live in other parts of the country the price is .49.  These are pretty small boxes- not full size boxes.

Share

If you are on Facebook, you can like Aerie right now and get a $10 off $10 or more Aerie coupon.

I have only been to Aerie once and I found items to be pretty expensive but maybe you can find a great deal with this coupon.  Keep in mind it is only good for a few days.

Here is the fine print on the coupon:

Take $10 off Your Aerie Purchase In-stores This coupon is valid for one-time use from April 28, 2011 through May 1, 2011 only in Aerie stores. Not valid at aerie.com. You must present this original coupon (no copies) to receive discount. Discount applied to Aerie merchandise only prior to sales tax and shipping & handling. Only one coupon or discount of any type may be used at one time. This coupon is not redeemable for cash, nor is it valid toward any previously purchased merchandise or the purchase of gift cards. Offer’s value will not be refunded on merchandise return.

Might as well like My Frugal Adventures on Facebook while you are there!  You can catch some of the great deals other readers are finding or share your own!

Coach Coupon: 30% off Through 5/1

04/28/2011

Share

There is a new Coach coupon available for 30% off your purchase at the Factory Outlet stores.  This is valid through Sunday only.

You can find a Coach Outlet location near you here.

There are going to be some college grads on the shopping list for some of you and a  business card holder from Coach would be a very cute gift idea.

So there are 3 codes floating around for Tiny Prints to get a free greeting card.  Usually Tiny Prints codes work perfectly for everyone but for some reason these codes only seem to be working for some and not others.

So, if you are still in need of a card for Mom you can try one of these and see if it works for you.  The card is free and shipping to you is free. Ship to Mom and you pay .44 for a stamp.

These are beautiful cards and they do send them very quickly.

Head over to Tiny Prints and select your design.  (You can skip ahead to checkout and test the code before you spend a lot of time on a card).

Try promo code: MDGIFT, MDCARD or MDFREE at checkout.

I made a card previously and tested code MDGIFT and it worked for me- so hopefully you have good luck too!

PS: Tiny Prints does require a Credit Card number at checkout.  I have never heard one single bad thing about this company but if that concerns you I would skip this offer.

There is a new coupon available from Raley’s/Bel Air for this weekend.  Get $10 off a $75 purchase, $15 off a $100 purchase, or $20 off a $125 purchase.

This coupon can be used in conjunction with the free item coupons available this week and is based upon your total before manufacturer coupons.  You want to be sure this coupon is the first one you give.

There are some exclusions like gift cards, alcohol and stamps.  This week happens to be a really good one at Raley’s so the timing is pretty good!

See this week’s coupon deals for Raley’s/Bel Air here.

Free Frito Lay Chips at CVS

04/28/2011

Share

There is an unadvertised deal running at CVS this week.  Keep in mind this is a transaction where you roll the dice because it is not advertised and also not every store carries these products.

So if the ECB does not print for you, your options are to keep the items and call it a day or just return them for a refund.

Here is the deal:

CVS is offering a $1 ECB when you purchase 3 Frito Lay chips.  The limit is 5 ECBs total per person.

Some stores have tiny single serve bags of chips priced at $.33 each that are triggering the ECB.
(These are not the larger .99 bags but rather a smaller package closer to what you put in a child’s lunch.)

I can’t say I have ever noticed these bags but if you find them, the deal looks like this:

Buy 3 bags at .33 each
Pay $1.00 and get $1 in ECBs back

I would test it first and if it works, you can buy a total of 15 bags and you will pay $5.00 and get $5 in ECBs back.

Apparently this is also working on the single serve packets of peanuts and sunflower seeds which are priced at $.50.  So if you buy 3 of those instead, you will pay $1.50 and get $1.00 back!

Let me know how this works out for you.

**

**NOTE: If you don’t feel like going to CVS or you can’t find these bags- tomorrow we should see 24,000 free bags of Frito Lay chips on Facebook! This giveaway is at 2pm CT tomorrow (4/29) and keep in mind Frito Lay has 2 MILLION Facebook fans.  So 24,000 bags will be gone in less than 2 minutes is my guess.  I will post a reminder on the My Frugal Adventures Facebook page tomorrow!

(Thanks Common Sense with Money)
