CVS & Rite Aid trip

This was a great trip to CVS- I went to a normally not so friendly coupon store but everything worked out perfectly.  Total before coupons was $30 and after coupons was $6.  I used $4.49 in ECBs and got back $8.98.

Milk $2.99
2 Right Guard Body Wash $3.88 each (one disappeared somewhere)
6 Snickers Eggs .50 (I would lie and say these are for Easter baskets but they are really for my tummy)
4 Oral B toothbrushes $2.99 each
2 Gum EZ Flossers $2.00 (these are great for little ones)

Used $4/20 CVS coupon
Used Buy One Get One Free Right Guard coupon
Used (3) $1/2 Easter candy coupons
Used 2 BOGO Oral B toothbrushes
used 2 Oral B $2 off coupon
Used $4.49 in ECBs and paid $6.02 with tax

I got back $3 for Right Guard, $4 for the GUM, $1.98 for the Oral B.

I did a quick trip to Rite Aid too. I didn’t plan it well since I was hoping to get the overage from the Scunci to use toward Burt’s Bees this week- but we all know how that went.

Anyhoo- got (2) Scunchi at $1.99
and (2) Gold Bond Hand sanitizer at $3.79
Used (2) $2 Gold Bond coupons
and I got back $3.98 for Scunci and $2 for Gold Bond

I broke this up into 2 transactions to roll the +Up. I paid roughly $5 and got $3 in +Up back.

This was my first time at attempting to get great deals combining coupons with ECBs. I did pretty well for it being my first time.
2 pantene gels on clearance for 1.44/ea and used the $1/2 pantene coupon. Got $2 in ECBs
Gum EZ flossers for $2. Got $2 in ECBs

Thank you this website has been a great resource and study guide on how to get the best deals. I’m hooked 🙂

At CVS today, the cashier wouldn’t let me use the $2/1 Oral-B coupon together with the B1G1 coupon (I was getting 4 since I had 2 of each coupon). I didn’t bother arguing about it since there was a line of people behind me so I just got all 4 and thought I’d figure it out later. Can I return 2 of the toothbrushes or will there be an issue with that? B1G1 coupons are confusing when coupled with other coupons or deals.

yeah just return two. CVS doesn’t have an official coupon policy so you are pretty much out of luck. At least you got 2 though!
