There is a nice deal available from Moolala today- I have heard about this one from several of you already.
You can get 10-15lbs of organic produce and herbs for $19. This is supposed to be valued at $70 and is 40 servings.
I can’t decide if I like this deal or not- mostly because I am not that familiar with Moolala. So I will just give you the scoop and you can decide what you think.
You pay $19 now and the produce is shipped in coolers. They have sold 3700 of these as of posting, so if you order now you can redeem the voucher after June 10th.
It says shipping is included in the offer- so $19 should be the final price. It looks like anyone, in any city can order.
This is a sample of what you might expect to get:
Herbs are a combination of the following: basil (purple, lemon or sweet), catnip, cilantro, dill, epazota, fennel and/or parsley (curly or Italian flat). Veggies are a combination of baby arugula, bok choy, cabbage (red or green), carrots (orange or red), cauliflower, celery, onions (sweet or red), radishes, red potatoes, sunburst squash, zucchini and/or My Organic Acres’ Savory Salad Mix.
I am sure this will probably vary for June shipments.
Thanks to everyone that emailed!

I’m leary due to the amount-40 servings seems like a lot. I would be worried about much of it going to waste.
Thanks for linking to our deal today. Please feel free to reach out to our team if you have any questions.
Thanks,

I just purchased this, and now I’m a bit worried that it might be a scam. The Organic Acres site has almost no contact information – just a toll free phone number. No location or even a link to email them. 🙁
Elizabeth- they left a comment somewhere here with a phone number. There were several thousand sold so I don’t think they can get away with running off with people’s money.
Y’all might want to do a little checking before doing anything with that “Organic Acres” site — not saying that there’s anything wrong with Moolala, but Better Business Bureau gives Organic Acres an F, http://www.bbb.org/oregon/business-reviews/farms-organic/organic-acres-in-hubbard-or-22644054, and if you google “Organic Acres scam” you’ll come up with reports from some pretty unhappy people. Just a head’s up!
Kristie- did you find more than one negative review? The link above appears to have one complaint?
I just got mine, and it is a scam. There were four potatoes, one turnip, three onions, four carrots, two ears of corn one cucumber, one zucchini, one grapefruit, one apple and one lemon. Most things had the PLU stickers from the store still on them. So what I think happened is someone went to the store and bought some produce and mailed it to me. I was led to believe that the produce would be direct from the farm, and that is impossible as no farm has all of those items currently in season…
Andrea, you should contact Moolala and ask for a refund. They assured people at the time that they would do that if people were unsatisfied. I put in my order for September, hoping there will be a good selection at that point.
It is a bit anti-green to ship organic produce from Oregon to Minnesota, but $19 seemed like a good price. :-/
