Target Trip $3

I had to run to Target for a few things today and I decided to grab a few of the great deals this week with coupons:

3 boxes Nature Valley Bars- Free with coupons
Deans Dip and Guac $1.37- used $1/2 coupon=.87 each
(we are having a party this weekend so I grabbed it but Target usually has these for closer to $1.15 so you might hold your coupons for a sale)
Kashi TLC Bars $2.65- used $2/1 coupons= $.65 (you can also get $1/1 coupons)

So the total was $3.04 and that is basically the price of one box of Kashi so pretty good!

AND- I have to say this was .50 that was an excellent investment! ย Someone on Facebook suggested popcorn to keep the little darlings busy while you shop and this worked like a charm for me! ย For the price of one popcorn ($1.50) and one smoothie ($1.50)- I also used the $1 off Target mobile coupon= peace and quiet for nearly 20 minutes.

Yes! I use popcorn too! The don’t usually mind splitting the one bag into two so my older girls can have their own too. It’s a lifesaver. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don’t ever give them popcorn so this was just short of Christmas time. Genius. Pure genius.

I do popcorn nearly every time I go. I just have them split one into 2 bags and then I get 2 waters. Lol. My kids in fact call Target “the popcorn store”. ๐Ÿ™‚

I always get the popcorn combo. They love popcorn and they get to share a big drink (fruit punch or lemonade from the fountain). For $1.50 or $1 w/coupon it is worth for the little peace and quiet I get in return.

My daughter is too young for popcorn, but I bet she’d love a smoothie – thanks for the tips!

FYI the Cafe at the Target on Fairway is under construction…meaning closed. They are finally adding a Starbucks.

My kids also call Target the popcorn store! You can’t beat it! They are mute for a solid 20min ๐Ÿ™‚ Or until we pass the toy isle..lol. Love it! Kids are too cute!

Where do you find the $1 Nature’s Valley Granola Bars? I know I have seen them…just can’t place them.

Hahaha! I thought I was the only one that used the popcorn to get my 20 min worth of silence.

Popcorn for the kids and a soda for me ๐Ÿ™‚ I think the peace and quiet only lasts me 10 minutes. Works great though.

Oh, my daughter is all about the smoothie. I don’t want to know what’s in it, but it works like a charm every time.

I tried to do the freebie Nature Valley granola bars yesterday and the register beeped on the Target store coupon — the checker said it only worked on the larger size box (which is complete rubbish) and had no interest in pushing it through, but I just thanked her and left. I’ll try another Target tomorrow. Grrrr…

Yay! Glad the popcorn worked! I use it every time I have both my kiddos…and yes, they will definitely split the popcorn into two bags…that’s the only way to keep my girls from fighting which ruins the whole point of why i’m letting them have the popcorn (peace and quiet)!!! LOL! ๐Ÿ™‚
