My target had $5 off coupons on the box for $10 off, so a small money maker.

Don’t forget if u have the $2 off dove men + care q then u can:
    buy 4 @3.99
    Use 4 $2/1
    And 2 target $1/1 (that’s all I had)
Total was $6 and get $5 GC back so net of .25 cents each!

Can someone explain “moneymakers” to me? Do u actually GET the money (or subtract it from your total) when u go over on things? Is that how these “extreme couponers” get their totals down to virtually nothing!? I mean say an item is $.92 and u have a $1 off coupon. Do u get the extra $.08 off your total? Or do they just adjust your coupon to $.92? THANKS!!!

It varies by store. Many stores just mark the q value down to .92 off a $.92 item. But, some stores do give you the total value of the q which in this case if you had a $1 q off the $.92 item, you would have a .08 profit-which the store would then take off your total purchase. Money makers to me seem mostly to happen in the form of register rewards, gift cards & ECBs. However, Walmart’s new q policy does allow for overage.

Hope that helps a little. I’m new to couponing & still learning the ropes myself.
