Tangled Coupon + Deal Ideas!

03/24/2011

Share

Here are a few deals you will find on the Tangled DVD! This is a big deal around here, my 3 year old has been waiting for months for this one!  This is not released until March 29th- so these deals are for NEXT WEEK.

There is a new Tangled coupon finally available and you guys won’t believe it.  The coupon is only for a measly $5 off the Blu Ray Combo Pack.  I was thinking $8 off but $5 is really low.  (So remember that is for the Blu Ray Combo pack and can’t be used on the DVD).  A huge ad will print following the coupon.

{CVS:}

DVD $19.99
Get $3 ECB
Final Price: $16.99

{Rite Aid:}

Tangled DVD $19.99
*Buy 1 Tangled DVD and one Nexxus item and get a $10 +Up Reward

Projected starting price for Nexxus is $5.29. They are 20% off next week so $4.23.
and Buy DVD at $19.99
Get $10 +Up
Final Price: $14.22 for both items

{Walgreens:}

Tangled DVD $17.99
Get a free Crayola Color Wonder with purchase ($9.99 value)

{Target:}

I won’t be certain about this until tomorrow. The rumor is that Target will have the Blu Ray priced at $24.99 with a free Tangled Book to go with it.
There is also a chance we will see a $5 off Target coupon. If you happened to get the Target Easter coupon book in the mail, you for sure have a $5 off coupon that can be used to make the final price $14.99.

{Amazon:}

4 Disk Blu Ray is priced at $29.99 and if you order now it should arrive the day of release.  If the price goes down before Tuesday you will be charged the lowest price they offer.

The DVD is priced at $14.99 and shipping is free with Prime/AmazonMom or a $25 order. If you order soon this should also arrive the day of release.

Tangled/Bambi deal- if you want to order both of these DVDs the price is $26.98 with free shipping or $13.49 per DVD. Click here and scroll down on the left side to get this offer.

In addition to all that, there are two rebates available:

Get a $5 Tangled rebate when you buy 2 Success Rice items plus the DVD or Blu ray

Get a haircut at Cost Cutters stores and get a $5 Tangled rebate

I have some Crayola Qs from the calendars in Wags. Do you think you could use a Q on the free Crayola item at Wags?

Also, if you live by a Disney Store they are pre-ordering it where you can get a coupon for $10 any purchase when you pick it up or $20 off a $40 purchase. The other day when I went in, there were signs that said you can get a free Tangled reusable bag with any tangled purchase. Not sure if that includes the presale, but you could ask.

Charlene March 24, 2011 at 12:01 PM

Erin last time Disney Store was a bust but I didn’t look into it this time. I think they refused to honor the printable coupons for Toy Story 3 so some people felt a little ripped off. It might be worth checking though if you need other things from them :)

Im saving mine up to use for disney rewards. I ordered it through the website and got extra points. I can’t waiti for this movie!!!!

Erin March 24, 2011 at 12:04 PM

Charlene,
That’s too bad. The Disney Store here took the Toy Story 3 coupons :(

I found another deal for Giant Eagle customers:
For one, the coupon is now live on DMR! Only $5 for the blu-ray, so bummer, but still better than nothing. Wondering where is the best deal to use it. Heard target might be good, but I found this one too on Giant Eagle’s site:

“Disney Tangled Blu-ray + DVD Combo Pack
22.99
Available for sale on DVD or Blu-ray Combo Pack Tuesday, March 29th
Save $7 with your Giant Eagle Advantage Card®. Earn 25¢ per gallon Bonus With purchase

Valid 3/29/11 – 4/6/11″ (as per ad on gianteagle.com)

I’m guessing the $7 was already taken out, so it’s 22.99-$5 coupon=17.99, then if you do the two rebates (not taking into consideration the prices of the haircut/rice to get the rebates), that’s 17.99-5-5=7.99. My tank is aprox 17gallons, so .25/gallon saves me another 4.25. So, just $3.74. Can that be beat?

Charlene March 24, 2011 at 12:20 PM

I think that sounds good Shannon. Personally I don’t consider $10 off the price for rebates because you will probably spend $20 or so to get the haircut/tip and rice but it still seems like a nice deal without those.

That is a rather stinky coupon. Especially since it says it is only for the 4 disc set. Those are a lot harder to find deals on. I did notice the 2 disk blue ray DVD combo pack is only 19.99 on Amazon. So that makes that a little better. I am really hoping the Target deal comes through (and is actually for the 4 disk set) or that maybe Safeway or Best Buy will have a good deal (since they both have for a few of the last releases).

Charlene March 24, 2011 at 12:39 PM

Yeah Laura- I hate shelling out $20 for movies but this one we for sure want the Blu Ray. I think Safeway might have something in the Sunday ad but they don’t always carry the 4 disk.

danielle March 24, 2011 at 1:07 PM

wow i am surprised that the coupon is so low too…but i like you will be getting it for an eager 3 year old! :)

Alexis March 24, 2011 at 2:28 PM

Can the Target Easter coupon $5.00 off and the Disney printable coupon $5.00 off be combined?

Charlene March 24, 2011 at 2:42 PM

Yes Alexis they can be stacked.

Shannon Driscoll Stout March 24, 2011 at 4:41 PM

I just relooked and I think my Giant Eagle matchup above is not going to work. I’m not positive, but it looks like the one in the ad is the 2 disk set and the coupon is for the 4 disk set. So, it just depends if they have the 4 disk set on a deal too.

Connie March 24, 2011 at 11:22 PM

Hi Charlene,
So purchase any nexxus product? I have 2 $3 manuf coupon for nexxus – got them from the manufacturer when I sent for the samples awhile back.

Charlene March 25, 2011 at 7:59 AM

Connie any except travel size.

Kelly March 25, 2011 at 1:16 PM

Toysrus has a pre-order promotion for $5 off a movie $19.99 or higher with $5 deposit for Tangled. Not really sure this works out as well as the past offers though.

Janey March 28, 2011 at 4:58 PM

Just a heads up for those of you that might’ve ordered this back in December when it originally came on Amazon…

I ordered the Four-Disc Combo: Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy at $29.99 and used the $8 coupon that Amazon had. Because it was a pre-order, it qualifies for their price guarantee.

Well, I got my email just a little while ago saying that my order has shipped and there was blurb in there about the price guarantee so I checked the current price and it’s down to $24.99 so I contacted Amazon and they are refunding me the $5 difference! :)

Brenda March 29, 2011 at 7:30 AM

I went to CVS this morning to get Tangled, however, I used the $5.00 off coupon, however, did not receive the $3 ECB.

Charlene March 29, 2011 at 7:39 AM

Brenda- the coupon is for the Blu Ray only. It cannot be used on the DVD. The DVD is triggering the ECBs today.

From the post:

“(So remember that is for the Blu Ray Combo pack and can’t be used on the DVD)”

“{CVS:}

DVD $19.99
Get $3 ECB
Final Price: $16.99″

I’m a new visitor to your site, I googled “tangled coupon” and your post was one of the first to come up. I just wanted to say thank you so much for this info! I was so bummed that the disney $5 coupon expired, and I was gearing up to pay full price for the blu ray/dvd combo pack at my local grocery store. I don’t even have a blu ray player so it seemed so silly to pay $25+ for the combo pack. I can’t believe I didn’t think to check Amazon, but I just placed my order for the Tangled/Bambi combo…it’s like I got Bambi for free! Thanks again! Kati
